What are some of your ideas for fixing the Sixers for next year? Would you get a power forward and bench Evans and Young? Would you try trading either player with a draft pick for a dependable veteran? What to do with Jason Smith and S. Randolph? Is it time to say thanks and good-bye to Kevin Ollie? Would you move Iggy to SG and let Young play SF? Does Willie Green deserve to start in front of Lou Williams and Robert Carney? And most importantly, what would you do with Sam Dalembert? Does he need weekly visits to the couch (psychiatrist), or the Wizard of Oz? Tell me your thoughts Sixer-Nation.

I personally would love to see Igg moved to the 2 spot  and Thad start at 3, pick up a nice PF in free agency if available and draft another big man at 16 and then let Mo Cheeks and the rest of his staff make it work, they have some nice young talent and i think they need one or two more pieces to put them over the top.

Well I think the ideal situation would be to have a guy like Elton Brand opt out of his contract and go hard after him or Jamison and perhaps Josh Smith. If we were to get one of them we could put Iggy at the 2 and Young at the 3, which will finally have Willie Green playing off the bench (preferably the second guard off the bench after Lou).

In an ideal world I would love the sixers to go hard after a proven PF, moving Young to SF, and Iggy to SG.  Only question is will there be anybody out there worth giving a big contract to?  Also we need shooters on this team.  We have plenty of athletic guys on this team that can both play multiple position and defense, but we were the worst 3-pt shooting team in the league.  If we could get at least one guy that could give us 15-20 mins a night while shooting a high percentage from the outside, it would do wonders for our offense spreading the floor and allowing out athletic guys to drive to the basket.  If we can address those 2 issues than maybe, just maybe we can make a serious run through the playoffs next year and years to come.

I dont think that Iggy is a good fit at shooting gaurd.  I think we are set at the point, small forward and center.  What I think is going to happen is that Philly will make a fair offer to iggy this year, he probably wont go for it, and we will wind up doing a sign and trade.  Does anyone really see Philly uping the offer that we gave Iggy last year?  It was more than fair, and I dont see what has changed since then.

I agree Iggy will have to settle for close to what he turned down last year, and it is interesting to figure what he is worth on the trade market. I really can't see the Sixers being Championship material with Willie Green as there starting SG. The Question is who will be there at 16, who can they sign as a FA and what trade can they make to put them at the top?

I dont know enough about college bball to even venture a guess at who wil be there at 16.  But I do know that the Sixers will have the most room (Memphis doesnt count) under the cap and that would make a big trade a very strong possibilty.  The FA market is questionable, Elton Brand would have to opt out (not after a big injury), Shawn Marion could opt out (who would pay him more than 16 millon),  Jamison (he's 31 years old) or Josh Smith (restricted free agent)

This is gonna be an interesting summer for the sixers. The team is average now (I think this same roster gets about 42 wins a year), but I do feel a whole lot better that Billy King is not the GM.  People make a big deal NOW about the team that he built won 40 games, but come on....he had years and years and years and did a lousy job for the most part
