Not to look past Orlando, especially since being up 2-0 meant so much last year against Cleveland, but just wondering IF Detroit were to finish off the Magic, who you guys would want, Boston or Cleveland?

My choice would be Cleveland just because of home court (which again didn't mean d#*k last year).  Part of me, though, would rather see the Celtics.  Garnett seems to wilt in big games and big moments.  Sheed will own him in every 4th quarter.

I would rather see them play the Cavs.  Mainly because I live near Cleveland and I really want some revenge from getting it rubbed in my face 2 seasons in a row when Cleveland knocks us out of the playoffs.  Plus I hate anything regarding Boston and enjoy seeing them getting knocked out sooner rather than later.

I say boston because I think James can just take over a game too easy. But boston have a better all-around team's de-fence and the Big 3 can just shut down the Pistons. One more thing, they also have a home court advantage that could also rattle the Pistons.

I dont really care, LBJ or KG and Co. I guess id rather see em play the Celts cuz it would be a more fun series to watch. Plus we all know how LBJ gets EVERY call against the Pistons. Im not too sure if anyone on the Celts gets that much preferential treatment. Pistons just need to close out the Magic now, win the next two and wait to see who will play them.

Boston by far.

Think about it: Our team vs the Big 3 would be freakin' awesome.

I guess it really doesn't matter who the Pistons play in the Eastern conference finals.  Part of me would like to see a rematch of last years finals between Detroit-Cleveland so that the Pistons would have the opportunity to pay them back.  On the othr hand, I think that Detroit and Boston would be a great series to watch.  Either way I'm really looking forward to it!  Go Pistons!  Bring the title back to the D!

I really cant stand to see another "LeBroom" cryfest.....I swear the guy flops worst than Ginobli....This will go seven then the Pistons clean up the scraps. Did anyone else see when the queen was blocked by two guys, flopped like a fish, then held his eye like it was falling out of place. I swear he needs to report back to the mist!

It depends on whether the goal is an entertaining series, or an easier team to beat.  Both would be an entertaining series -- Boston would be a battle of 2 eastern conference heavyweights, and Cleveland would be an opportunity for the Pistons to enact revenge from last year.

In terms of an easier team to beat, I would honestly say the Boston Celtics.  Garnett is their biggest threat, and we match up great against him with Sheed, Ratliff, and McDyess - as for Pierce and Allen, Tayshaun and Rip do a great job on them.  But with Cleveland, there are problems with 7'4" ilgaulskas getting offensive rebounds, and the obvious threat of LeBron James.. even tayshaun can't stop him, he is too good of a player to find a defensive answer for.  The only advantage to a Cleveland Series is that we would get the opening 2 games at home, and a game 7 at home.
