Who do you guys think will win this series?

What do you think needs to be adjusted by either team or what they need to improve on if they expect to win this series?

I think the Flyers need to do a better job defensively in terms of helping out Biron. They are letting up too many shots on goal. Other than that the Flyers have been impressive and Biron has been outstanding. Umberger is hot and hopefully Knuble is back for this series.

	The Battle of Pennsylvania. Its going to be a tough series but my Flyers will come out shooting and destroy the Penguins.

	Since I don't know much about how to prepare for playoff hockey, I can't offer many specifics. What I can do is look at what star players and superior teams are able to do and try to isolate the general scenarios. If I knew more, I'd want each matchup under a microscope, but I haven't watched many games. Star players used to and still do alot is have specific designed plays drawn up for their best players to 1) breakout of the zone 2) Cause mistmatches that get clear open shots on the opposing goalie. 3) Have a little tic toe toe passing trick. 4)Know the weaknesses of the opponents goalie and players and take advantage. 5) since the centers are supposed to be the playmakers, you get the puck to them. Overcommitting can be very costly, loss of the possession of the puck and odd man rushes. From I know about the Penguins, I'd employ a cover-2 type scheme on Malken and do things to destroy the vision of Crosby and cause Roberts to over compensate by using his own momentum to deflect his energy/checks, main goal is to tire him and force him to be too tendative. After that it's very complicated and top secret info. Biron has a goalie style that is prime for playoff hockey, he is not an Osgood who is one dimensional angle guy. Brodeur was a goalie who knows what to do with rebounds, if he gives any. So Biron, is not susceptible to just shooting the puck high or low like some of the goalies we've had in the past. I can't see this series going less than the full seven games. If we get Crosby to adlib most of the series and lose his feel for the game we get a leg up there.

	well, see this. I'm wanting someone to talk about the X's and O's. I admitted that I know JACK about preparing for playoff hockey not that I don't know anything about hockey. I posted this to get more understanding of the matchups. You used your chance once again to talk nothing about hockey, MAN, you just don't get it. Try not not to make EVERY post you put up here something vulgar. I mean enough is enough, I can see a little brain fart from your potty mouth but comeon, you posted like 6 of them in a row. 	I agree S.Avery! He is gay. I also agree that this series goes the distance. The difference maker is going to be studs. Can the kid get off his lump and find the back of the net? Can Malkin continue to score without the kid? Can Biron keep the goose egg rolling? These are all yet to be deterrmined and it will be fun watching it play out. GO PENS!

	Nick57 I'm going to have to agree with you the Pens fan base doesn't respect the Flyers success in the playoffs so far at all. This makes me look forward to the series even more. My sister lives in Pitt and they constantly are bashing the Flyers. Crosby is a little girl and runs his mouth I hope he gets into a fight with a big hard nosed guy on the Flyers. Its a long time coming and I hope he gets it this series.

	right Toxic. WHo cares what we think? I do know this...you better concentrate on more than just Sid and Malkin, because as I see it, Sykora is making a name for himself for scoring big goals in big games. Here is another- It could be argued that Philly is not as good as the NY team that was just erased in five games. I know you are going to come back with beating Montreal, but it has been said over and over that they are not the same team as they were in the regular season. For whatever reason. I think the Philly fans are on the back ass of their seat praying that their team plays like it did against Montreal. I think you guys are running scared as apposed to the Pens fans. Why el;se would you belittle a freakin city. Get real and deal with it!

	Bigben. . . . you are absolutely wrong. you see because the Flyers have nothing to lose. your team has to prove that they are the better team. after all they tanked it for 5 years to get where they are now. that shows real honor. the Flyers have always been a contender with the exception of last year. but man how they have bounced back. regardless i am happy with the Flyers performance and i will be happier when you and the rest of the Penguins fans are crying and wondering how this could happen. oh and wrap your head around this. . . even with the Flyers in dead last place last year they still SOLD OUT every home game. your clown of a town nearly lost the Penguins, Super Mario and his pals had to bail them out. Pittsburgh only has fans when thier team is doing well. you are what we in Philly call. . . FRAUDS!!!! us Philly fans maybe the most hated fans anywhere, but we stick by our teams whether they are winners or losers. thats what makes us Philly fans, somethiing you will never be or understand.

	Montreal, was very good until they faced the Flyers, that my friend, is what happened to the Canadiens. The Canadiens had hardly any answers for the Bruins who played with passion, then came the express of Philly. The Penguins, you may say, are sitting Ducks (without feathers), really haven't played anyone like Philly these playoffs. It'll be too late to stop this Philly Train, just get out out of the way is your only hope. (despite all the superiority talk, it'll still go 7 games)LOL

	Tonight's game is going to go to the Flyers. The first two games they played absolutely ridiculous with the exception of part of game 2. The Pens won't beat the Flyers in Philly! I see this series going seven games but I think since game seven is in Pitt that the Pens are going to win this series. Pens in seven? Correct me if I'm wrong. What do you guys think with play so far? P.S the refs seem to be in the favor of the Pens so far.
