What a stroke of genius! To declare for the NBA Draft out of Providence Christian Academy! No wonder Derek made the A/B Honor Roll for part-time students! Some college coach has to notice Derek now, after all he is possibly NBA material. Go Derek! Go!

When I was in college some of my friends and I were looking into declaring for the MLB draft, there are so many rounds we thought a team like the Expos would maybe make a mistake and draft one of us.  Unfortunately we couldn't figure out how...

Well Being that plenty of college players knowingly entered the draft when there was no way that they could get drafted whats it hurt if some prep school kid decided to?

I've seen the kid play at an NACA tournament, he's athletic and big for his postion and would make alota d1 universitys happy but the nba thing.....I wish him the best too! Go DEREK
