Oh wait, I know the answer to how Jr.'s car gets better throughout each race, Tony Jr. and the pit crew are all phsycic ! , they don't need Jr.'s input, they just sense what's wrong and get his car adjusted the way it needs to be, that's gotta be it ! How else could the 88 get better?

  i was and still am a die hard Sr fan!!! I quit watching nascar for two years after his death.. when i did start watching again i wasnt sure who i would root for.... Im not going to sit here and say my decision was totally unbiased but Jr is my favorite driver!!! Sure he doesn't win all the time (well ever as of late) but thats not what being a true fan is all about!!! The guy is a class act!! This BS that people are "afraid of wrecking him" because his name his EARNHARDT is just that..BS  They dont want to wreck him because he has EARNED their respect...well the ones that have respect that is.. IMO if it would have been say Mark Martin or even Denny Hamlin that wrecked Jr this never would have got so far out of hand..

huskylove , that's  funny . ddriver , I  stand  by  my   first  post . You  are   looking   for   an  argument . So ,  read  this ,  and  think  about   it . All   drivers ,  include  your  hero , HANDI BOY ,   can't   ,  yes , I    said  it ,  can't  diagnostic  a   problem  of  a   car . The   driver   can  tell   his  CC ,  what  is   doing ,  what   happens , and   where   the  problem   is . It's   up  to  the  CC   to   fix  . With  that ,  Jr.  is   good  with  that . If  you   think  that   Jr.   isn't   that  good ,  look  at  his   wins ,  and   where   he  is  right  now .

my grandfather got me into racing

my grand father was a huge fan of Dale Sr.

so I was a Dale Sr fan

my grandfathers neighbor was Bill Elliot

so I was a Elliot fan ~ he happens to drive for Bud

so when it came time for me to pick drivers I alwasy seemed to migrate to bud guys

which is how I came to Dale Jarrett (this was in the junior circuit) when Elliot could not really compete any more

Jarrett  moved to FORD, for whom I worked so it was on

then Jarret started becoming a non-factor and I need another guy too

started watching busch to find me a new driver

it was Kenseth or Junior

then Junior signed with BUD and it was everything rolled into one!

I have to admit I find myself rooting for Kahne a little now too, but I am junior nation

my mom tells me she craved Mountain Dew when pregnant with me so I guess even that part was meant to be

that is why I am juniornation

I...like THOUSANDS of other NASCAR fans...was/is a fan of Dale Earnhardt!  When he died, it was hard to watch NASCAR & I rarely did the rest of that season.  Then came spring & time for the Daytona 500.  What was I to do?!?  I had to pick a driver.  It was NOT going to be Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart or someone well established racing against Earnhardt.  I had others I liked, yes, but didn't want to switch to any of them.  I thought about Jimmie Johnson for awhile but decided to go w/ Jr. for several reasons.  His name for one.  His driving style is nothing like his fathers, but he has his own style.  It was a hard decision for all Earnhardt fans to make...but we had to do just that.  NASCAR is in our blood, so we had to pick someone...why not Jr?!?  No one will ever replace his Daddy in my heart...but I can live through Jr now.

I am so biased.

I am Junior fan becasue he is a teammate w/ Jeff.

I was a Junior fan because he drove for Budweiser.

Besides that, I have no ties to him.

He is a great driver w/ a lot of talent but as of now DJ has been the only driver in rescent years that has done what their dad has done.

There was no pressure on DJ as there is for Jr.

I like Jr because he is a teammate & was a Bud driver.
