At least the refs are calling it evenly this half. I can handle it if the Celtics lose when all other things are equal. They have stopped quite a few little runs on us tonight. Still plenty of time left though.

Villain I agree with ya LeBron isn't shooting nearly what he is capable of, but compared to his first two games where he stunk, I'll take it as much needed improvement.

Is it just me or are the Celtics not attempting to start offense from inside out. With Garnett, I'd begin with him rather than dribble and attempt force passes around the perimeter. What would it hurt to unleash the ball to Garnett each time and go from inside out?

You are so right, some things you would figure would be common sense

hansjs, the damage is already done.....the cavs already got the lead they needed from the refs not calling it the right way from the beggining, they can afford to call it even now....the cavs already have a comfy lead

Tough to go inside out when both point guards keep shooting instead of passing. This game doesn't worry me. Take away the 1st quarter and the game is even regardless of how bad the Celtics defense has been playing. The Celtics won the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I can't imagine anyone who didnt think the Cavs would have a good 1st quarter at home. Regardless if they come with a late run, i still see this series ending in 5.

I say this as a diehard Celtics fan.
If this team wins the NBA title, they will be the 1st team to do so without winning a road game. Unfortunately, I have zero faith that the Celtics could beat my old high school team on the road, and we sucked. Not a good feeling to have for your own team.
Such a waste.

Did the Celtics decide to show up or are these imposters? Not even an ounce of team D. That plus 3 pt ville and this is over.
News flash Doc: Make delonte go to his right (maybe he should have watched some of those old Celtics games).
Rondo, shame on you
Winners are required to play D on the road and at home.
Good job Cavs. However, Lebron is the biggest faker I have ever seen. Does't the league refs know this? And why does he get to yell at the refs w/o a technical when Boston can't?
Still Celtics deserve to sit heavy in the pot of disgust. Maybe the word "tee time" is ringing in their heads.

I think its in their heads personally.
Cavs came out and punched them in the mouth. The Celtics won't punch back.
Why not let Eddie House, Tony Allen, and Big Baby play some more minutes on the road? At least they won't feel any pressure. I mean, what can Doc do if they don't play well, bench them? He already has all series
Have to go with what brought you this far. Not playing Baby, House and Tony Allen just to see what would happen when your struggling is in my opinion, bad coaching. The way they are playing now is not working. Have to think outside the box.

Pretz, I agree that you should probalby go with your bench but not until you make sure your starters do not begin to doubt and second guess themselves. It is probably a good idea to bench the guys now but he will wait until the 2 minute mark just to keep your starters confidence up. I do not think you change for the playoffs. Just ask Avery Johnson. You just might out guess yourself!
