I told you guys that kobe would win MVP. See, I'm always right. It wasn't really that close since Paul had much more talent to work with this season, especially since Kobe's front line missed almost the entire season. I know you guys are biased and can't see too objectively, but try and imagine how N.O would've done this season if Chandler and West were injured the majority of the season like Bynum and Gasol. N.O would'nt have made the playoffs. Not even close. Now imagine if paul had a torn ligament in his hand and his front line was missing, and he led his team to best record then you would see what an obvious choice it was to give Kobe MVP
But that further demonstrates, how much of a better player Kobe is than Paul. People say paul is like Isiah, well Kobe is getting close to being on MJ's level. And no one ever said Isiah was better than MJ. Clearly Mj was the king. just as clear as it is that Kobe is the king....Peace.

I think Kobe should be the MVP, but people that thought Paul should have won probably still think the same way. Just because Kobe won doesn't mean everyone will think he should have, so this is really just a regurgitation of what we've already heard.

How can you accuse us of bias you f-king hypocrite, sman. No one gives a care if you were "right" because it doesnt necessarily mean you were right. It just means you thought the same as some old guys. If you're gonna keep saying Kobe won because he's a three-time champion, then quit even looking at basketball because even you know that "they" don't put anything outside of this year into consideration. Get a new hobby...or head...or something...just change something.
I'm semi-jk man. Congrats to Kobe and all, but REALLY no one cares if you were right.

we're biased sman? Riiiight. The king of bias says we can't see objectively. You can't hardly put up posts for licking you're monitor while a Kobe picture is on it. Dude, seriously, you act like his entire team was injured at once. The injuries were staggered. And it's the pinky finger that got hurt and it's on the guide hand, not the power hand. I play sports and lift weights with a permanently disfigured ring finger, it's not that difficult.

Almost forgot.
I'm not saying that Kobe shouldn't have gotten the MVP, but I think you could have flipped a coin. Nevertheless, your arguments for it are irrelavent as to why he got it.

Wrong Saints fan. It's his shooting hand, not his "guide" hand. And yes it was a no-brainer, Kobe winning as the voting supported. Bynum missed half a season, and Gasol played 25 games. Imagine, West missing half a season and Chandler playing only 25 games, and Paul playing with torn ligament onhis shooting hand, and leading NO to best record in the West. It should've been a unanamous vote. This was no contest. Not even close. A coin flip could've been for who was 2nd between Paul and Kg. First place was Kobe by a land slide.

The problem here is sman, I won't ever agree with you. I'm not saying Kobe doesn't deserve it. But you're off base by saying CP3 didn't either. It was no landslide.

Indeed, Kobe is not the best player, it was given to him out of sympathy for sure. Remember when Nash was give the MVP, he wasn't the best player, just the best player on a really good team. Sman knows Paul and Lebron are better players, he's just sleeping with Kobe, so he's biased.

Gasol may have only played for 25 games, or however many you said, but the Lakers struggled without him. I'm not taking anything away from Kobe, he had a great year. But CP3 is clearly the MVP. Just ask the Mavericks.
