Does anyone think now that the Bobby Jackson trade was a mistake?  He stunk it up in the playoffs.  I think he had 1 good game out of the 6.  I believe Bonzi Wells and Mike James could have done better than what he did in this series.

What a dissapointment.

On another note, maybe it's time to think about trading Luther Head.  Every time the playoffs come around, he just chokes and doesn't show up.

What do yall think?

I still think the Bobby Jackson trade was good for us.  He brought some knowledge of the offense to the team and played well in the regular season.  Yea he had a crappy playoffs but so did almost all of our other guards.

I will say that after the game I thought it is time for Luther Head to go.  He played like crap last year and made 1 shot in these playoffs and blew numerous layups.  We need another small forward/ shooting guard to back up Tracy McGrady with a little more size than Head has.  I think in the offseason him and Chuck Hayes will be gone.  I like chuck but our PF is stacked and with Yao Ming coming back and Luis Scola and Carl Landry in the mix Hayse seems like he will be the man out b/c I look for us to keep Deikembe Mutombo and also pick up another center.

Im happy with the trade, Bonzi Wells just never worked for the Rockets.  Im still a little ticked when he took a plane ride home during a road trip last year without permission right before the playoffs, because he 'didn't fit in'.  He's not Stephon Marbury, he shouldn't have done that.

Bobby Jackson is a good shooter I like it, now I hope that somehow Steve Novak gets some playing time, he's like Jason Kapono if not better of a 3 point shooter.  3's are our game when we make em we usually win.

We better keep all these rookies, these guys are pretty damn good.

I wish Steve Francis had more of a chance to redeem himself so that we wouldn't have needed Bobby Jackson, but that is probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I think we have Francis signed for another year. If he comes back next season ready to play, does Jackson get cut?

I hate to say it, but I think Luther Head is expendable at this point.

I would really like to see Aaron Brooks play more.  As for Luther Head, I think he needs more time in Adleman's system.  He should handle the ball less and shoot more 3's

I personally think that we need to trade off and get someone for Alston, I love the guy, but I think we need a more consistent PG. As long as we add some people to the trade I think we would be able to get someone younger and a little more capable of taking over the game when T-Mac is off his game. But with or without a trade, if Yao stays healthy next year, the Championship is ours.

I believe that the Bobby Jackson trade was a good one because he is WAY better then Bonzi Wells and Mike James would have done in the playoffs.

But I do agree with the Luther Head needing to go. He is doing nothing for this team. We could trade him but we wouldn't get much. There is also the choice of releasing him though. I think we should trade him, even though we may get nothing good out of it.

i agree Luther Head is just like the phoenix Suns. They are great in the regular season but once the playoffs come they disappear. I just dont understand.

Now that the off-season is here i see us using Bobby Jackson and luther head in a package to get someone taller. We have alot of pgs and not enough wing players. Time to get taller for the 08-09 season and make a run for the title.............ITS TIME!!!!!!!!!!

i agree ...now that rafer has evolved into a really good PG, we don't need booby jackson anymore except for maybe some three shooting.  So in that case, we should get rid of luther and put booby into Luther's role of shooting 3's and occasionally playing some hard nosed D.

But Rafer was hurt for part of the playoffs and I think we saw Bobby when he had the pressure on him, and he just couldn't produce.
