Their goes the season for the Tigers
Awww. Buck up little camper. I think you are forgetting something. Who is the most talented quarterback at LSU in the last 10 years? That's right. It's JaMarcus Russell. LSU did not win a national championship with him at quarterback. Who did LSU win its two BCS national championships with? The most recent was Matt Flynn. He was a good quarterback, but not great. And the other? Most people would not be able to tell you unless they really follow LSU football. It was Matt Mauck. Let's just say he was not as good as the other Matt.
So you see, the season is not lost. We will be fine. Have faith. Even without Early Doucet, we still have a boatload of talented receivers. We also have a great line and great running backs (even without Jacob Hester). On defense, we lost Glenn Dorsey (who was hurt and played at maybe 70% all year), Craig Steltz, and Ali Highsmith. That is about it. We have alot of talent on both sides of the ball. By the way, we signed the quarterback who led his team to the Louisiana state championship this past year. He may not be ready to play this year. Until he is ready, though, Hatch should prove a serviceable quarterback.
Geaux Tigers!!!
