Last year, the Kansas Jayhawks had a remarkable 12-1 season, ending it with an Orange Bowl victory over Virginia Tech. They finished the year ranked 7th in the nation. They are returning one of the best quaterbacks in the nation. Sp why is Kansas not even mentioned in this post

Should Kansas be in the Top 25 to begin the season?????

I wouldn't brag about that Tech win too much. LSU beat them by 38 during the season. Sure Kansas deserves to be ranked, but not too high. Maybe around 20 or so.

Because no one outside of Kansas cares.... They can just fade back into 100 years of obscurity again.... Great B-Ball team though.

The reason Dodd does not mention kansas is that he is a misery tiger graduate. He cannot bring himself to talk about the great state to the west. Dodd is an idiot, and is a completely biased journalist. I can't believe I just wasted 15 minutes of my life, that i will never get back, reading this crap he prints. I think he's still bitter that KU got picked over the tiggers to play in the Orange Bowl in the first place. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK BABY!

Not so fast, Nebraska: What does it say about Bo Pelini's turnaround efforts that he had to move tailback Cody Glenn to linebacker? Not much about a defense that gave up 38 points per game last season.

If Husker Heads are expecting an immediate turnaround they'd better check the lineup in the Big 12 North. Missouri and Kansas will both start in the top 15. Colorado is making its own push. It will be hard to slot Nebraska any higher than third in the suddenly competitive North. Which leads us to ...

Kansas is mentioned in the nebraska paragraph.

i would actually say that Kansas should be in the top 25 for the first 5 weeks of the season, because yet again you guys picked a incredibly easy non-conference schedule...Kansas will lose to Oklahoma, Texas, and Mizzou...which given the talent pool this year will probably still keep you in the top 25..so congrats.
