San Francisco seems the most logical choice, however I would not count out a team like grren bay or the Jets from trying to make a splash with him.  Prior to the draft I figured Dallas would make a play for him, but they drafted 2 rb's so I doubt that now. I do believe he and Ronnie Brown in miami would make for a potent tandem.

The Cincinnati Bengals seem to be making the biggest push for him.  I think it is a good fit for them as Rudi Johnson is inconsistant and may have some problems with his hamstrings.  And he can be a good veteran leader for 1-2 years for the likes of Chris Perry and Kenny Irons.

The Bengals aren't making a push... he contacted them and so they agreed for him to come in for a visit.  They didn't draft a RB in the draft as most Bengals fan had thought.  They were apparently happy with Rudi, Perry, and Watson.  And if all 3 are healthy, it is a fine corps of RB's.

It wouldnt surprise me if he ends up in Chicago. Benson hasnt proved he can carry the load.  New England is a dark horse that could use Alexander to help revive their run game.

Although I haven't heard anything about it, Chicago seems like a good spot. Benson will probably be gone soon so they need someone to share the load with their draft pick

I think he's done as a starting runningback he will be a back-up with the Saints if not there then maybe with the miami Dolphins to give Ronnie Brown some rest during games

I think he might end up a Saint behind Deuce and Reggie, I dont see Shaun being a starter any more in his career, its about time he hang up the cleats and take a seat in front of a camera on Sunday, but he probably has a little gas left in the tank.

The Cincinnati Bengals, Shaun Alexander is a Boone County High School Graduate who grew up a bengals fan, this is where he wants to be.  Kinda Like when the reds signed Ken Griffey Jr.  he took a cut because it is where he wanted to be.  I think Shaun would do the same thing.

It makes sense from the bengals prespective for a number of reasons.  1. Rudi Johnson has been nicked up, Kenny Watson isn't an every down back, and Shaun could ad to a miserable run game in cincinnati.  2.  The face of the franchise, Chad Johnson wants out, enter the new poster boy for the city, hometown hero Shaun Alexander.  3. The bengals have a terrible off the field reputation, Well shaun is a guy who in the off season comes to speak at area schools in the cincinnati, Northern Kentucky area, he is in the community in a positive way, and could be a positive role model for some younger players that the bengals have that need that positive guidence once they enter the league.  4.  He isn't going to break the bank.  In all actuallity he will probably sign a one year incentive based deal because the Seahawks still have to pay him millions in gurantees so he isn't strapped for cash and is just looking to prove his value in the league this year after a subpar season riddled with injuries last year.
