Lets say the Heat draft Michael Beasely what would u think about I heat getting Janero Pargo.

Janero Pargo is a guy that Riley targered last year as well, so obviously he sees something in him that we may not. I would not mind giving the guy a chance to showcase his stuff in preseason and make him earn a spot. A chance is the very least this guy deserveres. As for the Heat drafting Beasley, I don't want that for the Heat, he does not fit into what we have in place, nor does he fit into the players we are planning to bring in via free agency... we already have Udonis Haslem and Shawn Marion at the forward positions, we are hurting at the PG and SG positions, both for depth and an actual starter. I think we can develop one of the young guys we have on the active roster into a reliable C, if not we address that through the draft or trade, free agency.

This team is not all that far behind from making it back to the playoffs whether it is as a 1 Seed or 8 seed, really doesn't matter-- this team is not far off-- Selecting the so called best player available ( Beasley) over need ( Rose) would be a mistake, because first of all like I said Beasley plays a position(s) that is already taken and considering the fact he is coming in after his freshman year, he has a lot to learn and will end up having to learn coming off the bench for maybe a year or two-- so it would be a bad "PR" move to do such a thing, correct?

Rose would fill an immediate need at PG and will at least compete for a starting position, and though he is the same age as Beasley, Rose played against better competition in college and would be more prepared for the NBA in year one than Beasley.

These are the reasons why I say time and time again that Rose is the right pick, safe pick and only pick for the Heat at one or two.

Rose is my number 1 choice but if we get Beasley.

Then Pargo would fill a need at Point Wade brings the ball up alot anyway and Pargo is an outstanding Shooter

I LOVE THE LOGIC BEHIND THE ROSE PICK, I LIKE HIM AS WELL. BUT TO PASS UP ON BEASLY  I THINK WOULD BE A MISTAKE. 1ST A FOREMOST MARION CAN OPT OUT. SECONDLY WE CAN'T PASS UP ON A 20 AND 10 TYPE PLAYER WHO SHOOTS WELL FROM THE LINE AND CAN RUN THE FLOOR. AND CAN SHOOT FROM OUTSIDE. ALSO WE DO NEED TO ADDRESS THE PG POSITION ON OUR TEAM CAUSE BANKS AND WILLIAMS AND QUINN JUST AINT GONNA DO IT. WE SHOULD KEEP Ricky Davis AND SEE IF WE CAN GET ANOTHER SHOOTER. PARGO WOULD BE A START AND WORK FROM THERE. LIKE YOU SAID WE AREN'T THAT FAR OFF. A HEALTHY WADE MAYBE MARION. BEASLY UDONIS. BLOUNT DAVIS ARE A GOOD START TO THE SOLUTION OF OUR PROBLEMS

hey Paolo, Pat Raily doesn't draft as what he needs , he drafts as in whats the best player that is left on the board...he's done that with picking wade... which lots of people question that pick cause we already had Eddie Jones as a SG and wade came in as a SG...but turn out great pick for us...and the same thing when we pick Dorell Wright over Nelson... which was big mistake ...but raily wants the best player in the draft. so rose seems to be the biggest need..but beasely seems to be the best player in the draft....so we'll see..
