Well , it looks that the mangement of the Sabres is set . It's going to be a long season . Nobody was fired . Well , I hope that I'm wrong , but , keeping Quinn is a bad move . Ruff ? I don't like him , and he will get a job , that's about it .
On to the BANDIT'S !! They are in the play off's , and , in first place of the league ! GO BANDIT'S GO !! They play PHILLY tonight , so , go to the game and cheer on the team , this might be the last season of Travares and Kilgore , Rick , . Travares IS THE WORLD'S GREATEST PLAYER OF LACROSSE !!!!! HE LEADS POINTS , GOALS AND ASSISTS !!!

Why don't you kike Quinn or Ruff? Ruff is one of the best coaches in the league, he did a lot with not a lot of talent and tons of injuries.

GEODUDES2 , Quinn may know about something , but , hockey is not one if them . The reason that the Sabres have a team , is from Regier . It's Quinn who is destorying it .
Ruff, I never liked him as a player , and I sure as hell not like him as a coach . He can't run a defense . Can't change his play's . I.E. the players they lost from injuries , he didn't change their plan to win . It's 4 defensemen , you don't send waves of offense . You change to a defense play . For 8 years now , it's the same offense play . That's why they missed the playoff's , and they well miss them another , next year .

They will definitley make the playoffs next year, the young players just had to come accustomed to their role without any significant veterans to help them out.

Geodudes2 , you missed my post . I said that I hope that I'm wrong . But , with Quinn working the cash , that's a no no . It wouldn't matter how young players that play .Last year , the Sabres had 4 rookies , and 4 new players . All players , but the 4 rookies , have at least , 2 years experienced . With all due respect , your therory is out the window . I expect that they will sign to Miller . But , with pommer , that's a different case . I don't think that the Sabres won't sign him for 3.5 million per year . Regier knew what a player he was . It was Quinn who sign him to a long time conctract , now look at that . Regier wanted to sign to 6 year deal , but , Quinn said no . The CAP , for next year , is going to be around 56 million , and , that leaves around 10 or 11 milliom to play with . They have to sign about 7 players too . From the draft , and , the team players . Miller is asking about 6 million per year , and at least 6 years .

They will definitly sign both and get rid of Max to free some cap space. But on to the Bandits. They beat Philly last week and this year they are going to win the Championship.
At least we have one good buffalo team right now

So much for this becoming a good Bandits thread :)
I don't necessarily agree that Ruff is a bad coach. I would definitely suggest that some changes in the staff is probably not a bad thing, though. Personally, I think it's time to make a change at the Goaltending Coach position. Everybody keeps talking about how we have bad backups but personally, I don't think the last three (Biron, Conklin, Thibault) have been bad at all in terms of their careers as a whole. And with Miller falling flat towards the end, even with a shortage of talent in front of him, he could have done better. Again, I think it goes back to coaching, and even further, I don't think that will change as long as Larry Quinn is in charge because his attention is spread too thin between the Sabres and his other business ventures.
As for the Bandits: THANK GOD FOR THE BANDITS!!! I have been a season ticketholder now for 8 years. I'm upset with myself for having to going out of town this weekend when they (hopefully) will beat the New York Titans so we can have another shot at a Championship game at home. I think the Bandits, and indoor lacrosse for that matter, are a much more enjoyable team to root for than the Sabres: the game has everything that the NHL wishes it had (better scoring, better hitting, better fighting, faster game play) and with players that are actual there because they want to play, not just | |
