Orinda is a name that a poet named Katherine Philips used to refer to herself in her poetry. We studied her in a 17th century British literature class when I was in college.
Nothing sporty about it, I'm afraid, but I have used the name on another site for years and it seems like a second name to me!

Hmm, I always thought it was "Greater than Head".....I often pondered what you thought could be greater than head.
Mine is from the Beatles song Daytripper about being a white collar button up person through the week and a let it loose party guy on the weekends. It fits me to a T so I figured I'd go with it.
Way back when I started using the name (AOL chatroom days) there was already a Daytrip70 (My first car was a 1970 Mustang) so I fell back to '65. It felt right since I was a huge White Zombie fan and Thunderkiss 65 was one of my favorite songs.

Pfoto is a nickname given to me by my baseball coach back in High School. He just couldnt pronounce my last name and shortened it to Pfoto.

Had the same name as my dad. Ray. Both middle initials are C. so to avoid confusion, my family called me Racy. Then later on I went on to race stock cars, and all my friends started calling me Racy.

My screen name is simply the one that was assigned to me when I was in college. I just got use to it being more or less my I.D. and the way people recognized me that it carried on later into my life.

It's my fantasy football team name that I started using two years ago. I joined CBS with it in December 06.
I don't hate the Raiders. I just refuse to capitalize their team name, and acknowledge that Al Davis exist. There's only one good thing about Al Davis. His money, when Lamar Hunt wanted to start the AFL.
Other than that, I couldn't use the name "raiderhaters donkeybusters chokinchargers" in one screen name. LOL.

I really hate the hyperlinks that CBS has attached to the message board. It automatically capitalized "Raiders".
