Thanks, lol.  I actually made that mistake in a post earlier this week also, something about Bum's kid makes me want to confuse him with your QB coach.   Didn't Wilson QB for the Boys back in the day also?  I agree about the success factor on the d-line but for a different reason, records like team sacks are very rarely repeated back to back.  Still think the team could post 40+ sacks, but 50+ is a stretch.

Backdabluestar,

This is like arguing with my wife. I write something and you address something completely different than what was stated. I referred to the phantom holding calls from your post. I know you think Reeves penalty was legit and even said as much in my post. I know it's a matter of time before Dallas achieves success. They have a good group. I am not saying we will repeat in the Superbowl. I'd love for us to but as I said, we'll have to wait and see.

I admire your fire for standing up for your team as you have done. We both like our teams and we both want success. Let's play this year and see where they stand at the end. Then we can start up again with bragging rights. Sound good?

As for last year, we are the Champions. We struggled but overcame. On paper we were not the superior team to others, but on the field where it matters, we won and nothing can change this. Whether people think we were lucky, refer to my post about luck, or just better.

Talk to you in 6 months.

Skip, cuse, and whoever,

I posted that thread because of what blue star was saying on our boards, I felt his arrogance was becoming too much.  I did not start anything, for the record...and like star likes to say, I was backing up people I respect on this board who were getting attacked unfairly.  Don't come on to our board and downplay our achievements, it serves no purpose and is completely selfish.

Either way I agree with Skips asessment that the Boys and Gmen will be a great rivalry and there will be some intense matchups for years to come.

I wasn't calling you out gintsboi, I like your posts and I too occasionally troll the Cowboys boards to irk them.  That's part of the fun of a rivalry poking fun at the other guys misfortune, especially when you have the sweet taste of championship still lingering in your mouth.  I was just letting the board now how happy I was at your new little stalker who I find hysterical.

Isiah ThoMas 1- I see you got your stats right...but here is one you guys never had a single runner rack up more than 96 yards....so i think my friend was trying to say your overly hyped beast of a RB Jacobs....never got to the Cowboys the way he said he was going to be able to....If i am not mistaken i believe we even knocked him out of the first meeting with a meesley ankel injury....IMO i think he was too tired of getting his head knocked around...buy our defense.....again that is just my opinion.

DCjae0283,

Check your stats better.

Jacobs had 100 yards against the Jets, 107 yards against the 49ers, 131 yards against Miami, 130 yards against Washington, 145 against Buffalo.

Ward had 154 against the Bears.

Bradshaw had 145 yards in the Buffalo game.

This to me doesn't point to a weak rushing attack. First game against Dallas, Ward had 13 rushes for 89 yards for a 6.8 yards per carry average. Jacobs didn't have much because of injury. In the second game against Dallas, Jacobs rushed for 95 yards on 23 carries. Over a 4 yard per carry average. Not bad against your vaunted defense. Ball control. So really what's your point?

"Jacobs....never got to the Cowboys the way he said he was going to be able to"

Crayton never did anything to the Giants in the playoff game like he said he was going to. Blah, Blah, Blah! You may have had better stats in the playoff game, but we did the one thing no one else could.

WE MADE T.O. CRY.

Only one stat really matters in the end.  And that stat was in our favor.

Final Score Giants 21 Cowboys 17

And even more glaring is a more important stat

Final Score Giants 17 Undefeated until now Pats 14
