was just fired by the Mavericks...now i hope to god that walsh brings him in to run our team...this was a gift from god and we need to accept with open arms

It would be silly not to interview this guy immediately.  What a big difference from soft-spoken Isiah to the fiery in your face coach that Johnson can be.

Avery Johnson had the best team in the NBA last year, and his Mavs sh** the bed (to my Warriors).  Bringing him to NY would be a disaster.  The Kncks need an experienced hardass type.  Rick Adelman would be perfect, but I don't think the Rockets would let him go.  Sadly, w/o Marbury, Larry Brown also would have been great, but that ship has sailed.
