There is a bit of disagreement in Houston about ....
Tracy McGrady.
I am curious how fans of Utah (I HATE Utah - sorry) feel about McGrady.
I have remained nuetral in my words throughout this question, though I am not.
In parting, Though I hate the Jazz (for good reason), I can not hate Williams - that dude is high class. (I hope you trade him - to us.)

In the game tonight, in my opinion, I saw ......
Utah wanting to win the series in Utah.
I also saw - Scola, Landry, Alston, Motumbo, Jackson & I think that's it, playing for their life.
If a miracle happens, I am thinking about springing for game 7 tickets, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that.

Tchoke is a low-class jack ass. What is his name d ran, d ron? I think I'm Michael Jordan but I can't get out of the first round.
Michael gets to say what is it? By-ron or Brian? cuz he is MJ, but Trace-eye, Wacie, Bullfrog eye, 4th quarter big-game-choke-job needs to shut up.
He will be whining about fouls, how bad he sucks, and whatever else he whines about after getting eliminated after game 6. I can't wait to see him shed tears. He is like cancer. No one wants that...

I don't think McGrady is a superstar. He doesn't elevate his game when the team needs him the way Kobe does, or any other marquee superstar has done. The other guy was a little harsh, but he's not a player I'd want on the Jazz.

There are only 8 players paid more than McGrady (if my info is right).
I don't think he's worth half of what he's paid at this point.
Here are the players that make more than him (rounded to nearest million):
Garnett - 20 mil
J. O'neal - 20 mil
Kidd - 20 mil
Bryant - 19 mil
Iverson - 19 mil
Marbury - 19 mil
Duncan - 19 mil.
(McGrady - 19 mil).
I've been a Rockets fan since I moved to Houston in '93, but I am getting sick of McGrady. He was supposed to be on Duncan & Kobe's level, but he seems more like a role player to me.
After last night's game I started wondering if he had money on Utah - there were some rediculous turnovers committed by him.

I actually had some respect for him after game2 when I thought the guy played his heart out, but shortly after that game he has done everything possible to change my mind. First he threw his own teamates under the bus. Then his coach. He disrespected the best player on the other team. I agree this guy has no class and you aren't going anywhere with him. You guys had a good game last night, but that is what you are suppose to do in the playoffs win at home. Jazz win game 6 and go to the next round, and the McGrady CURSE stays intact.

I'm not so sure it was Houston having a good game as much as it was Utah having a bad game.
I kind of fear a blowout for us in game 6. (I hope not, though).

After watching almost 2 playoff series of Mcgrady, I really hate they guy. He seems to blame everyone but himself for his lack of getting to the second round. He has no sportsmanship or confidence in his teamates.

if you honestly think that, you don't know anything about the Rockets and shouldn't be talking... He has publicly criticized HIMSELF for doing poorly, so i don't know WHERE you get this idea from
everyone needs to get off his piece... there is no one better than T-Mac on the Jazz right now so i don't know why you think that you wouldn't want to have him
give me a break people
btw... one person doesn't get a team to the playoffs... i don't care HOW good Bryant/Duncan/KG plays, they are NOT getting their team there alone.... so, even though he doesn't do it, laying some of the blame on other people isn't altogether wrong.

sorry... he does blame other people... but he takes blame for himself too
i'm not saying he's my favorite person out there, but he's really not done a whole lot to deserve all this hate that he gets from everyone
