Packers

A

They may have reached a little for Nelson, but the value of Brohm makes it a wash.  They got great players and great value, and filled their needs.

Also,

This is a great football game online, it's free, and it's really fun.

Ravens - B-

I like the picks they made, but took points off for not getting a pass rusher or TE.  If Heap and Trevor Pryce stay healthy this year, then there is less of an issue.  It looks like they got a few guys that could help right away on special teams which is a big need, b/c they hurt the team w/ penalties in a few games.

QB - Joe Flacco -  Love this pick, b/c they  got their guy.  Also, instead of being knee jerk and taking him at 8, they got 3 additional picks by moving down to 26.  Then, they gave up very little to move up to 18 to make sure they got him.  He is more athletic than people think, and I love the ht, arm, accuracy, and quick release.

RB - Ray Rice looks solid.  He can add to the running game.  Maybe they could have filled a better need, but I love the commit to improving the O in this draft (7/ 10 picks).  Patrick Allen seems like a solid player to get in the last rd and from a good program (Oklahoma).  Could make the team for special teams.

WR - Marcus Smith and Justin Harper are both big and athletic WRs.  I likje Smith's power also and it looks like he could play in the slot also and can make big catches in traffic .  Harper needs to get stronger, but has the frame to put on mucle w/o losing speed (reportedly 4.33 forty).  They seem like different types of WRs from Mason and Clayton that can allow us to do different  things.

OT - Oniel Cousins and David Hale -  Cousins is inexperienced, but athletic and seems to pick up things quickly.  Hale isn't very fast, but has good initial quickness and technique.  Hale is also a true RT and I see that as a bigger need as they have guys that can play the left side, but if they have a T that can play on the right, they can move Yanda to G and Jason Brown to C.   I'll start the rumor now that he is related to Alan Hale so he may not be a good person to travel w/ for a 3 day road trip:)

OLB - Taveras Gooden - Another 52 from the U (I think he'll have to change numbers).  Reports earlier were that Bisciotti wanted to sign Ray Lewis to another 3-4 years, but this pick couyld mean his replacement and if they do resign Ray, it won't be at a high cost.

S - Tom Zbikowski and Haruki Nakamura - Love both of these picks.  Both guys are hitters and both can return punts.  i can see them both making an immediate impact on special teams.

Dallas gets a C-.  Would be an A- if they got Mendenhall.

Jerry Jones is an idiot for taking the homer pick over a guy who should have never fell that far in the draft.  Mendenhall is bigger and stronger and even .02 seconds faster in the 40.  No idea what they were thinking.  I would rather have Julius back.

Mike Jenkins was a steal at 25 and Martellus Bennett was much needed.  Would have liked to get a WR but I have faith in Crayton.

I wont pretend to know that much about the 3rd+ rounders, but everyone seems overly excited about Tashard Choice.  His only highlights Ive seen are him running through massive holes in the line.  Looked more like Oline highlights.  Hope he can return punts...

Of course the main concern still is choking in the playoffs, but lets see what happens.

Packers: D

Brohm might work out well, but I just dont see the need for more WRs on a team with a full roster of very good WRs already. More DL taken, when thier was no need. I wanted to see mostly Cornerbacks and safeties. When Woodosn and or Harris were hurt, the Packers went from an elite team capable of competing for the SB to a decent team at best. Woodson and Harris are oldish, and Atari Bigby cant do all the work as safety. I was very dissapointed.

I was very happy with the Steelers draft.  I will give it A+, because the Steelers didn't reach out for a lineman that was rated much lower on their board just because of need.  I love the first 3 picks obviously.  Steelers are usually smart shoppers and will pick up some free agent help next off season for the O-Line.

I don't think anyone should ever get an A+ for a draft unless it results in a superbowl victory.

I hate to say this, but then I guess Jerry Reiss's first draft was indeed an A+.

Almost all of his picks contributed leading up to and in the superbowl

Rams - B-

Chris Long was fairly obvious at number 2, but our reach in round 2 has a ton of folks worried. I think hes a great fit for the offence, but almost certainly would have been there RD3.
