It is hard to say who will be the quarterback of the future since both have not proven themselves in the draft so right now I have to say Rodgers since he is supposed to be the quarterback of the future

I would say Aaron Rodgers but my concern is his ability to stay healty. I like all three of the Packers picks today as well. I believe Brohm has the tools to be a good NFL quarterback, lets hope he doesn't get  thrown into the fire...bluejay

Aaron Rodgers studied behind Brett Favre for three years. He has the support of his team and the respect of a legend. Mike McCarthy already has confidence in him and mentored Rodgers when he took over the team. He is the guy.

Brian Brohm is a talented college QB who never took a snap with the Packers' offense. He certainly has potential, but rookies rarely pan out in the first year. To be the quarterback of the future, Aaron will have to really struggle over a long period of time (over a season, not a couple of games).

I have faith in Rodgers. I see him as the future of this team. Brian Brohm will provide competition. I think that this will push Rodgers to improve and this will make him even a better quarterback. That is why it is better to draft a good quarterback who has starting potential. Thompson probably selected him so he could get the best out of Rodgers.

As others have said, we will probably have two very good quarterbacks thanks to competition. One of them will make for a good trade in the future. However, I believe in Rodgers. It does make me feel a little better, though, now that we have QB depth.

Brian Brohm is fortunate to have a coach who works so well with quarterbacks.

Rodgers deserves a shot, but I think Brohm will eventually be "The Man."  The McCarthy regime wasnt around when Rodgers was drafted, and they just took a QB with the potential to be a solid pro in the 2nd round.  That to me sounds a little more than just "Training Camp Competition."

Also, Brohm and Matt Ryan are VERY similar.  If Ryan is supposed to be a "Franchise Player" for the Falcons, then Brohm should do just fine for the Pack.  They both scored a 32 on the Wonderlic exam, which shows excellent smarts.  From reports I've read, he has a great arm and above average accuracy, just like Matt Ryan.

Can't wait till training camp to get this competition started!!!!!!!!

It's pretty simple.  Rodgers is the man until he shows that he's not.  He's got a three-year head start and was just as good as Brohm coming out of college.  What will ultimately determine how far Rodgers will go with the Packers is his ability to stay injury-free.  If he gets hurt every time he steps on the field then Brohm will be the future of the Packers.  If he stays healthy then Brohm will be prime trade material in a year or two.  The quarterbacking in the NFL is quite a bit down, and Brohm will fetch a very good price if he's not the starter.
