Darren Collison will return for his senior season. I love the kid but i almost wish he would have left. It seems this may stunt the development of Holiday and his playing time now, unless he plays the SG. interesting how this affects the team. we really need a big man,i know he wasnt very good but  i wonder if Howland would like to have Ryan Wright back now?

Totally unexpected , but he did mention that GM's feedback around the league lean heavily toward his decision to stay. This mean we'll have 4 great Guards with small Center position in the middle. Aboya now is leaning toward getting his Master degree somewhere else or return back to Cameroon. We're so desperate to have any Big Man right now.

i wonder if Howland would like to have Ryan Wright back now?He would but their relationship was estranged after Ryan's refusal to redshirt his freshman year. Now we just have to wait and see if Ater Majok will visit us in his way back to Australia. The possibility to have only James Keefe and Drew Gordon as our front players with no backup will make us the smallest lineup in the nation. Even if Mbah a Moute decided to withdraw, our line up will still be small. The good thing is that there is no dominant big man in the Pac 10 this upcoming season.

The good thing is that there is no dominant big man in the Pac 10 this upcoming season. Not so fast my friend.  I agree that there will be an absence of big men in the Pac Ten but Jon Brockman is coming back to play his senior year for the Huskies.  He may not be listed as a center but he averaged 17.8 points and 11.6 boards per game.  Better numbers than K Love.  In the game at Pauley he had 17 rebounds.    Brockman, Pondexter and Dentmon return for the Huskies and Romar may have the next best class of freshmen in the Pac 10.  Tyreese Breshers should contribute his first year.   Look for Brockman to have a big year and Washinton to be a contender in a weak Pac Ten.

He may not be listed as a center but he averaged 17.8 points and 11.6 boards per game. Better numbers than K Love.Exactly, he's not a true center and he's listed at 6'-7", 255 lbs wide body. We'll be playing defense like 2 years ago, double up on our opponent's low post player. Probably, Jordan Hill of the Wildcats who finished strong toward the end of the season averaging 14.9 ppg (the last 10 games) will be the only Center that can create problem for us.

It seems this may stunt the development of Holiday and his playing time now, unless he plays the SG. interesting how this affects the team.As far as development of Jrue Holiday in concerned, we saw he can play the 2 Guard position at the McDonald and Nike Hoops. He'll slide in to take over Westbrook's position rather nicely I may add. Malcom Lee in the other hand who is listed at 6'5" may have to play the 3 Guard off the bench for Shipp. Meanwhile, Jerime Anderson and Michael Roll will provide stability on the backcourt when either Collison or Holiday needs a breather.
