This is just outstanding! First you blow 2 14 point leads on the road and fail to put away either one of them. Then you come home and right out the gate you find yourself down by 14. This is why the Suns will probably never win an NBA title. Now everyone knows why D'Antoni had no business being the head coach of this team. He can't even prepare his team and make adjustments. As far as the players go they just need to come mentally ready to play and execute better as well as play with more intensity. Hopefully Kerr if he is still around at the seasons end he brings in a legitimate coach to help win that elusive title

Actually I think Kerr might be part of the problem.  Before D'Antoni became basically GM....we had the best GM in the business who made great decisions on Draft picks....Colangelo!  After Sarver bought the team Colangelo left, Kerr in my opinion is not very basketball savvy in business sense, I don't think he should have been given the Job as the Suns GM.

I believe D'Antoni will be back...but there is a good chance that as Kerr quoted himself saying that he himself (Kerr) will be called an "idiot" and probably handed the walking papers. So Kerr might be a goner...at least I hope.

I don't see how D'Antoni could be back. He has proven time and time again that he can't prepare this team mentally.

D'Antoni sucks as a coach, just look at his overall record before he landed in Phoenix. He had never won anything, never had a winning record before coming to Phoenix. Why he was chosen to coach is beyond me. Probably because of the style offense he runs. However just like any other sport win you can't play defense you can't win in the playoffs, let alone win an NBA title. There is no doubt he will be fired after the series is over, which likely will be on sunday

I would take D'Antoni as my coach.. THIS IS COMING FROM A Spurs FAN..  ,, D'ANTONI IS A FAR SUPERIOR COACH THAN PHIL JACKSON.. COACH ASTERISK IS A DAMN QUITTER,,, HE LEFT KOBE OUT TO DRY AND GAVE UP UNTIL BETTER TALENT CAME BACK. I HOPE COACH POP NEVER DOES THAT TO US.,,UPRUPTLY LEAVE THE TEAM AND THEN COME BACK. WHY LEAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I HATE COACH ASTERISK..

PHIL JACKSON.. COACH ASTERISK IS A DAMN QUITTER,,, I HATE COACH ASTERISKHey Marco, what are you - 10 years old???  What's with the "asterisk" moniker?  When he stepped down, after the Lakers lost to the Pistons in the NBA Finals in 2004, his five year deal was up (three titles in five years - not bad!)  He didn't "quit" - he decided to take some time off to reflect.  I have no problem with that.  When he came back, he had his work cut out for him, trust me!

Hey marko polo what kind of drugs are you on? The Suns could have used some those it  may have inspired them to play better defense. You need to get a clue before you start posting on here. I don't know the zin master hate him or not he has 6 rings and is a HOF coach. D'Antoni is a HOS coach no rings. He should have won with the talent he had, however he doesn't know how to coach defense.

Phil Jackson = championship rings enough for both hands
Mike D'Antonio = can't figure out how to install a defense that works and cannot beat the Spurs come playoff time.

I am a Spurs fan as well but I am going to have to go with Jeannie Buss' boyfriend on this one.    The Suns need to realize this roster is not a championship roster and certainly D'Antonio is not a championship coach.    Time to start over Suns fans.    Dump D'Antonio and Shaq.   Get us much as you can for Nash and Amare and start over.

To say that Mike D'Antoni is a superior coach to Phill Jackson is just foolish.

Give up Amare? We need to build around him, not dump him.

Steve Kerr is out. He ruined the chemistry. We were right there 3 years in a row and now we look like a rebuilding franchise. I wish we would have never ran the Colangelo's out of town. Jerry is the Godfather of Phx Sports and Brian is simply an amazing GM.

Jeannie Buss' boyfriend I still can't believe she picked an old Phil Jackson over a guy like me. Yeah I was liking her before Jackson   came in the picture but when I try to talk to her at a Lakers game, she said I was young.

The Suns window is closing fast! Shaq will turn 37 next year and Nash I believe like 35?
