Haha, in reply to the "three things the Suns need to do", I think you should edit it to the "Ten Things the Sunds Need to do" since (3) Telling Mike D'Antoni to shutup and sit on the bench won't really help the Suns.  D'Antoni has always been an a-hole that runs his mouth, one of the best games of the season is when the Lakers, with Bynum and Ariza, destroyed the Suns after D'Antoni was talking smack to Phil Jackson about the playoffs.  Well, the look on D'Antoni's face when Ariza dunked all over Grant Hill and he realized the Suns couldn't outrun the Lakers was great.  He had to shutup, eat humble pie, and smell the dirt in his mustache.  D'Antoni told everyone (just like Shaq) "wait to the playoffs."  Well, we are in the playoffs and the Suns are down 0-2, where is Marian, your sole defensive stopper?

You also allude to (2)The Suns needing Shaq on the floor.  The suns look ineffective with Big Daddy out there.  He seems to stand around on D and wait for a gimmie block shot or a rebound to bounce right to him, he isn't active clogging the lane or snatching boards out of peoples hands, is that what you really need?  An enhanced version of Erick Dampier?!

You also point to needing (3) Grant Hill healthy, hahahaha, when has that happened?  The only time he has been healthy in the last 8 years was the first four months of this season.  I guess the Suns Trainers ran out of GHB or the "clear" and now Hill is hurting again.  Well, thats what you get b/c if you are relying on Grant Hill being healthy the whole season and the playoffs than you smoking some PCP, you dont know what is going to happen but you know you can't count on it.  I think the main thing is Boris Diaw.  He was suppose to be 'Marion Lite' but turned into 'Marion Crystal Pepsi,' a total diaster.  When Diaw steps up, sans 2 years ago, so will the Suns, until than -- the Suns will always mirror the "we believe" Warriors - fun, exciting, "neat" team, but no one fears them.  The Lakers team with Kwamme Brown and Smuch Parker almost took them down two years in a row in the playoffs.

The Suns need a lot of things, things that can't be corrected overnight like active defense and a slow tempo to grind down the Spurs.  Too Bad the Suns couldnt come to LA for a D'Antoni/Big Daddy/ Raja Bell beat down.  The most memorable thing Raja Bell did was clothesline Kobe and a year later Kobe is MVP and Raja is the poorest version of 37year old Bowen.  Too bad PHX dumped the Matrix because now they look like the Lakers after they dumped Shaq.
