mvkrum, my problem with the Eagles draft isn't so much the players they took, it's that it's always about NEXT year. I still have to pay full price for my season tickets this year, so why can't they make a better effort to win NOW?
Laws and Jackson will contribute this year and probably Booker, but that's it. You think McNabb is happy with his "weapons"? And I do think you need a tall WR. Guys like TO, Moss and Burress are unstoppable in the redzone. We have a bunch of midgets and we were one of the worst teams in the NFL in the redzone last year. That's not a coincidence. It doesn't matter what your offensive ranking is. It's all about how many points you score.
And I hope we're keeping Lito Sheppard after only drafting one CB who won't play in 2008 with a knee injury. At least he's a good citizen if you ignore the fact that he was charged with trespassing and burglary in his Sophmore year and tested positive for Pot in his Junior year. Good job Andy.
