I'm lauging at what you said to Theismancrackle. What talent you were a 10-6 team. It took 17 years for you to win one. Superbowl.com has it that you don't even measure up as any type of powerhouse post season, division or Superbowl team, the stats say so.
You're the same thing you were the last time you won,..........a team that got lucky. What talent on your current roster? LoL Would that be the roster with Jacobs who couldn't manage a hundred yards rushing. LoL
Or the roster that is now minus Kwika Mitchell after Barber embarassed him both running and blocking him? LoL
Or is it the one that got lucky through the post season and Superbowl. Lets be real, the catch that saved the game was pure luck it had nothing to do with skill,..........it was all luck. Eli evading the sack was skill, but the pass was junk mail and the catch was just pure luck and you know it. It was the same type luck that allowed Romo to recover the botched snap against St Louis and turn it into a first down.
Some things are luck but most is skill,...........yes some games are actually won because your team got lucky or because the other team beat themselves. Whether you want to admit it or not it happens.
Luck doesn't make you better than your opponent,........even if you win.

I hate the Cowboys.
But... They have a great team and they did well in the draft. They are a shoe-in for the Playoffs and very likely could win the NFC East which is the toughest division in the NFL.
Unfortunately none of that will matter if they can't snap their insane playoff loss streak.
As a Redskins fan, people can say that I am a "homer", but I think we had a monster draft and have enhanced last year's playoff team on the offensive side of the ball a LOT. I could see the Skins sweeping the Cowboys this year, but I could also see it being a split. It would be great to decide that split in the NFC Championship game. Where I have a good feeling that we would win (of course to get there, the Cowboys would have to break that losing streak which would be sad).
The Giants should make the playoffs this year but I think that they will be the #3 in the NFC East.
The Eagles will still dwell in the bottom, but they won't be there forever.
Cowboys- 12-4
Redskins- 11-5
Giants- 9-7
Eagles- 7-9
Come at me with all the trash talking you want, but I am not talking trash here, just calling it like I see it.

It is hard to make the championship game when you have a QB that can not win a playoff game and a coach that well you all know. That son of a Bum!

Fine lifefan;
In two combined games next year it will be 105 Redskins/ 12 Cowgirls!!!
This year that kind of talk is ridiculous. We are talking about 2 teams that will both do really well.
The Cowboys had a way better team last year than the Skins for a lot of reasons (including but not limited to injuries and tragic circumstances). While everybody on the Redskins board is ripping on us for not looking harder at the defensive needs, we really have put some effort into the offensive side. AND since we had a late season surge in defense, our defense is not as bad as some think. With an improved offense, that defense will have a lot more time to rest. And mark my words; That punter we got in the 6th is going to help our defense this year as much as any one player that we could have gotten after the 2nd round.
As far as hating on the Giants, I don't like them, but they are not our main rivals and just were not the best team in our division last season. They went through an amazingly tough road to win the Superbowl though, so mad props for that. In four games they played 4 division champs (Buccaneers, Cowboys, Packers, Patriots right?). I don't know how they did it, but they earned it.
Still, this year will be mostly Redskins and Cowboys in the NFC East and I think we both have the teams to make the best rivalry in football become the best rivalry in football again for years to come.
Finally!

I wish that rivalry could be back but who on your team now reminds you of Riggins, Monk, Deacan J, or Green? You got basically have a bunch of pre-madonnas like for instance Portis. Oooooooo, I just went there. What you got Will? We do not have any crying madonnas here. And Biatchbutt, I expect about another 750 loser posts from ya this year. If we get anything less than this number by the end of the year then you'll be tarred and feathered.

That had to be sarcasm right lifefan? I mean TO? Romo? Jones (as in Jerry)? now Pacman? Look around the NFL, there are a lot of prima donnas on almost every team. Portis is pretty original, you gotta give him credit. I think he is going to have an incredible season. West Coast O is gonna make him thrive.
Comparing players from the same team a generation later is kinda tough to do since offensive and defensive strategy changes over that span. It's a lot easier to find someone in the NFL than on one team. But we do have guys that may (and in some cases will) be compared to other high end players in the league currently.
Most Skins fans will agree that it has been hard watching our team put up points for a while. I don't think that will be the case this year.
I feel like I/ we know what we are going to see from Dallas, which is solid play. BUT it's going to be hard for other teams to know what the Redskins are going to do.
For having a rookie Coach, a new system, and 20 something new guys fighting it out in camp (7-10 will stay I figure), It's a pretty exciting time to be a fan. I, for one, am looking forward to this season a lot more than last year's.

To hear talk of crying prima donnas is funny though since the most recent example I can think of happened at the end of the Cowboy's season last year. But I'm pretty sure you are being sarcastic. It's funny either way.
