As I predicted, Cowboy fan (Paytonb) on the offense.... Calling me ignorant when they are the ones ignoring the fact that I have already stated that I don't care about Michael Vick, and already know the Falcons suck. No expectations means no chance of being bitter about anything (unless they win 10 games).  So lets push that issue out of the way.

I'll tell you how it is.. I am not simply telling you anything.. This was the most controversial move in NFL history. It was intellegently put, because nobody in their right mind would take a chance on him. I know what the uproar is about because you guys are the touchiest fans in all of sports. Someone says that they did something wrong, and you're ready to burn someone at the stake.. If you didn't like my comments, go by them. Squawking at me, telling me how stupid I am is just showing that there's some validity to that, and you are offended.

Why would I whine about the playoffs when I am not a Cowboy fan? I'm speaking truth on Romo's playboy status. Nothing hater about it. He's in more tabloids for his off the field actions, not between the lines. That's a fact.

Then to call me sensitive? I'm falling out of my chair laughing at these posts because I predicted it!! I KNOW you are going to fire back because it's your nature. You guys are the cause of the uproar. It's how you take the post. You take it with no open mind at all, and just come out shooting from the hip. The truth is that you see anybody critical of the team as a hater. It's a typical response.

Tank Johnson has played not even half a season for you guys. Give it time before the model citizenship can be legit. And Owens has not been the good boy since being there. I honestly believe he and Parcells butted heads constantly. Authority issues.

And again, if you would read the earlier posts.. I've already made a comment on the Bengals keeping Chad Johnson, and they agreed with me. They were understanding. It's only YOUR team that gets offended when something comes up like this.

And to Moose, I used to be in Texas.. I'm back in my hometown in Georgia. I just forgot to update on my profile.

"Dallas has nothing???

How about 8 Superbowl appearances and 5 world champoinships!!!  "

Who called it?! hahaha... Predictability, people!

I'd rather have a 3rd pick than choke in the 1st playoff game and move into the 20's.

Dallas seems to get into the playoffs almost every year, but the last time they actually won a playoff game was almost 13 years ago, January 1996.

Talk all you want about 5 NFL Championships, but what have they done in the last decade or so?

Let's put the Cowboys 5 NFL championships in perspective, shall we?

Chicago has 9 champions, 8 are NFL champs.

The Browns have 9 league champs, 5 are NFL champs.

SF,  the Redskins, Steelers, and Colts all have 5 NFL Champs each.

The Giants have 7 NFL Champs.

The Packers have 12, and you don't see Packers fans walking around thumping thier chests wearing  " GOT TWELVE? " teeshirts do you? But Cowboy fans have no problem trash talking while wearing " GOT FIVE? " teeshirts, even though they haven't won a single playoff game in over 12 years.

The Lions and Raiders are only one behind with four league championships each, do they deserve to be 80% as obnoxiuos as Cowboy fans?

No need to get all riled up.. post ignorant statements with no merit and you should expect to get called on them, plain and simple. No uproar.. no fans getting riled, simply calling you on your ignorance.. it will be ok.. you'll get over it I'm sure :)

All those "good feelings" about Romo, T.O., and the Cowboys will soon be a distant memory...

So the fans telling me to shut up are not riled up? The profanity laced PM's from Cowboy fans is just normal behavior? Your ignorance shows very well in this situation. You guys cry, so I respond... So you can cry even more.

You may want to read the posts before saying anything, especially about ignorance. I'm responding to your sensitivity because I know it irks you guys everytime somebody says something about your sacred team,

You can call it sensitivity on my part all you want. I call it having fun dangling you guys around like my puppets on a string. Speak, little men, speak!

You keep saying I am sensitive, but you give me no examples for one. I didn't know laughing and having a sense of humor made me so uptight! haha

Like I should listen to Cowboy fans about an open mind.. You are defending the trade for a criminal for no other reason but the fact that he's a big name and it puts Dallas in the headlines. If he's somewhere else, you guys would be critical of him like I am now.

Nobody has called me on anything by the way except for Mea, wondering why I put T.O. in the Penal League remark (when he also cut out pieces of my original post to make it look like I was just out to bash the team and make wild remarks). All I am getting is the chest thumpers with the "we won 5 Super Bowls in 8 appearances" speach that you guys just love to do sooooo much, when that has nothing to do with the post at hand.

Typical Cowboy fan, as I said. I dislike a move from them, and you all call me stupid and tell me how bad my team sucks. It's a Texas tradition, my friend. You are just another piece to that trend.

You guys cry, so I respond... So you can cry even more.Funny...I could have sworn you were the one who started this thread.. and maybe you are the one who should read through the posts, you became offended and defensive, ok.. whiny.. on the very first page long before any Cowboys fans said much of anything... you have it a bit backwards, we're the ones sitting back having a good laugh over your rants ;)

Payton, I am so glad that you have found out who started this thread, but again your vague, pointless banter shows me nowhere where I get offensive. I don't have anything to defend like you guys apparently do. That's why you lash out at me and drag on my team so we can get the attention of the original post. I asked nobody to respond, but you guys did in such a defensive manner.  How? Well, nobody gave me any reasons why it was a good move by Dallas. Instead, you guys go off and complain about my wording and get all picky and whiny. I don't believe I have complained yet.. Saying that it was a dumb move isn't complaining. It's being real with your opinion. Apparently you don't know what an opinion is because you apparently take it as fact.

Oh, I'm not laughing?? Miss Cleo, ladies and gentlemen. haha... Come on, up your argument from a 5th grade level and maybe I'd take you seriously.

Ezluv1, Dallas does have 5 rings... Where have you been? Again, it's like fighting with an alzheimer patient... Easy to forget what I just wrote last night.. It's right there to read, but no, you Cowboy fans continue to prove me right about your level of intellegence and understanding. Mike Vick is not beloved. He's a crook like Jones, except Vick ended up where he belongs.. Good riddance to him.

You see, not all teams prefer money over class like Dallas. But again, you wouldn't know that because you're simple minded.

If you had simply stated that you thought it was a bad move and why, you would not have gotten so much flack.  Instead, you decided to be a homer and talk trash about the team.  That's why people don't like you here.

Back to the topic... Have you actually read about his contract?  If Pacman doesn't keep his act together, Dallas gets to can him and get their pick back.  Pacman will get no guaranteed money.  Sounds like a win win to me. If Pacman screws up, he's done in the league, and the Cowboys lose nothing.  You'd be an idiot not to make that deal.

He's a crook like Jones

? Why is Jerry Jones a crook?  I don't understand why people dis JJ all the time.  He's not stupid. The man is worth an incredible amount of money, and you don't make that money being a moron.

You see, not all teams prefer money over class like Dallas.

Oh please. You say this after calling Cowboys fans dellusional?  Every team is in it for one reason: To win.

But again, you wouldn't know that because you're simple minded

It's easy to talk tough from your mother's basement isn't it, big guy?

#1. Homers talk up their own team.. I never initially talked about Atlanta, so you are just talking straight out the other end. I am talking about a teams troubling trend of signing controversial players (hmmm, I think I have said that before... More than once).

#2. What does the contract lingo have to do with it?? As an owner, you are only as representable as the players who represent your team. Positive light is not being shown on the Cowboys with this move. Usually you try and get away from as much trouble as possible.

#3. Jones... As in Pacman Jones. Not Jerry Jones.

#4. Every team has standards too. It's not just about winning.. That's why you saw nobody chase Pacman. He's nothing but a handful of trouble. And he may not even get reinstated. I want the Falcons to win, but I'd never want Pacman or Michael Vick back to try and do it. You need to uphold some kind of morality in the locker room.

Here we go, more personal jabs. Should I be surprised? My mother doesn't have a basement in her house (assumptions, assumptions). And again, you know you struck a chord when they lower themselves to personal jabs against you  (have I done that?? Nope.. I talk to you like a fan, not a person. And as a fan, you are ignorant and still lack the knowledge).

Anyone can talk tough online, but that's not what I am about... When I talk sports, I don't stroke egos. I tell you what I think whether you agree or don't. It has nothing to do with tough talk from your mother's basement.

first things first i did not want pacman on the Cowboys, but to say that this shows how stupid they are is just not right.  look,  they get a first round talent for a fourth round pick.and pacman is only 24. they also renegotiated his contract and nothing is guaranteed.he only gets paid if he plays. they also get the Titans fourth round pick next year if the suspension is not lifted...it would almost be stupid for the 'boys not to take a chance on pacman. now do i think the guy is a jerk ...yes !  but jerry jones is running a business and this deal makes a lot of sense.....
