Cavs will be lucky to survive the series against the Wizards....they are still basically a one-man team who has a weaker supporting cast than last year when they made it to the conference finals.  You must be kidding to think they'd win more than one game against the best team in the Eastern conference.  Cleveland matches up poorly at every position except SF where LeBron has an edge on Paul Pierce, except he'll have to actually exert some energy on defense covering either Pierce or Ray Allen.  IF the Cavs are lucky enough to beat the Wizards (which is now in doubt), they'll be easy pickings for a rested Celtics team.

Tell your GM Danny Ferry to make some better trades or draft some players to help LeBron before he eventually leaves as a free agent when his contract is up.

After the Cavs pathetic performance on Thursday night, I think you Cavs fans had better start thinking about next season, not the second round.  The Wizards absolutely destroyed your vaunted team and LeBron only scored 22 points?  Worst rout of any team in the playoffs in a long time, certainly the worst beatdown of a team that started 2-0.  If they do somehow get to the next round, it's Boston in four. (No, I'm not a Wiz or Boston fan, or any Eastern Conf team).

Cleveland1, you really are a true Cav fan if you think Lebron and the boys can take the Celtics to a seven game series.  But first things first.

The Wizards took 3 of 4 games from the Celtics so they too have a winning record against them and it looks like you may have counted your chickens far too early because I'm not so sure that your Cavs will get by the Wizards.

Assuming they do, there in no way in Hades that the series with the Celtics will go the full seven games.  Worst case scenario is that the Celts take out your Cavs in 5.  I take note that you are somewhat a realist in predicting that the Cavs would not beat the Celts but you are still dreaming if you think it would take them 7 games to get past LaBron and the boys.

cavsbrownstribe, you are a homer if there ever was one.  You are also delusional.  Garnett, Pierce & Allen never have done much with their teams in the past but that's moot because they never played with each other.  The Cavs are barely in the same league as the Wizards big three but are light years from being able to compete the the Celts big 3.

Last year was a fluke for the Cavs just like the year Iverson was able to take a pathetic 76ers team to the finals only to get embarrassed like the Cavs did last year.  So you just keep drinking the Kool-Aid in Cleveland.  I'm sure it helps you deal with the reality that your teams are far from the elite in every league and the only choke reference you should refer to is what your tribe did in last year's ALCS.

Does anyone but like 4 people actually ever respond to these threads without showing such ignorance. We know your not a cavs fan, or a Wizards fan, thats not the point. Read the post and answer the question posed and stop acting like a bunch of third grade inbred dropouts.

Also to anyone who thinks that big loss is the beginning of the end look whats going on with Detroit and Philly, two blowouts in a row from either team, it means nothing. it was a bad day. We all have them.

Wow that big 3 looked great last night.   If you can't beat Atlanta (worst record in the playoffs) in 5, how are you gonna beat the King at all.  We're about to get rid of one so called big 3,  If yours can ever get out of that nailbiter of a series with atlanta (hehe) we'll be waiting.

I say cavs in 6 because Boston could be tired after what could be a 7 game series against Atlanta.

Cavs/Wiz series has been just as drawn out (wouldn't be surprised to see the Wiz pull out game 6 to force game 7).   Cavs 2-2 vs. Celtics during the regular season, but with Wally and Delonte West, I think they're actually weaker than they were earlier in the season... come on, the Celtics got rid of them like used garbage!    Celtics still have business to take care of with Hawks, but losing 3 in a row to them on the road seems unlikely, and no way Hawks beat Celts in Boston if they survive game 6.

Celtics over Cavs, 4-1.

okay, so cavs beat the wizards.

Celtics still have to beat the hawks. though i think the celtics will win because it is in boston, it adds to more rest for cleveland.

and clearly boston isnt as good as everyone thinks if against the hawks they are going to a 7th game. im not cocky by any means, its just boston might be showing its lack of playoff experience.
