With both series at 2-0, I don't think its too early to start talking about the Hornets in the next round. I haven't counted the Suns out yet...they are a great team, but I don't think the Mavs have a chance in hell of winning that series. With that said...

I haven't seen many Hornets' games this season, but from what I saw they are very athletic and talented.

What are your thoughts about the Hornets in the next round?

Don't jinx us, buddy.  The last time I said something so bold, Derek Fisher proved me wrong.

Haha...ok. We'll just put that topic on the back burner for a while...BUT if it comes up again, I would like to know what everyone thinks about the Hornets!

Hornets will be tuff, I do however think the Spurs have an answer.  Duncan will dominate AGAIN...

Amen!  If we can take 1 of the games in Phoenix, then I'll feel giddy.  Come back to Texas tied 2/2, I'm real nervous.  Spurs cannot get off to the horrendous starts they've had in games 1 and 2 and expect to win on the road.  I sure hope Hill remains very limited.  Without him, the Suns have some real difficult defensive matchups on the perimeter.  I will say that unlike the classic on Saturday, I was really surprised how the Suns let down Tuesday.  Sure they had the horrendous 3rd quarter and did make a push late, but I don't think the game every really became in question down the stretch.  I thought Amare and some of the others for the Suns played pretty lifeless in the early part of the 4th quarter.  Suns were only down 9 going into the fourth.  I was very surprised to us push that lead to 17 before retreating.

I agree with everyone else..........don't look ahead too far. That's goes for both teams. I'm a huge Spurs fan but, I've been a Spurs fan long enough to know that there's still a lot ob B-Ball to be played. N.O, is not playoff tested.......yet.

If Dallas wins both games at home, then watch out for the Mavericks. I just don't know how they Hornets will handle the pressure b/c they've never been in this situation before. Who knows, I would like to actually see the Mavs and the Spurs in the 2nd rd b/c I hate the Mavs sooooooo much.

Come on man...

DON'T START THAT TYPE OF KARMA.

(let the Suns keep being the favorites)

I appreciate the confidence of a good fan...but...

The Rockets, Wizards, and Raptors proved that game 3 isn't the time to start being overconfident.

This series is far from over.  Luckily the Spurs players & coaches don't look past a single possession yet alone a game or series.

I think the Spurs will hang on to win...but if they start thinking Hornets after 2 games............the Mavericks and Suns might enjoy round 2.

The Suns will win a game or 2, but we will win the series & face the Hornets. The Mavs will not be able to get it done, especially if the only guys you can count on are Dirk & Brandon Bass.

Here's my take on facing New Orleans (if that's where the cards fall). I believe that come game 3, because of age & inexperience, the Hornets will really start breaking down mentally. I've noticed that the Hornets tend to get flustered & chippy when facing the Spurs constant pressure defense. It seems they can hold it together in the regular season, but this is the playoffs. I see a hard foul by the Hornets in game 3 that changes the series. I say Spurs in 6. We adjust so well on the fly, Chris Paul is not going to be able to throw lob passes for fast break points & alley-oops all game long. Also, Tony Parker is not past his prime.

Please David West, forget how to score for at least 2 games, ok?

Go Spurs Go

I stand corrected.... I thought the Suns would come out with more Fire & they didn't...

They just let the Spurs raid the fridge & Pee in the toilet without flushing...

Wow... Just wow... That game wasn't even close....
