Later today, Derek Kellogg will be announced the new head coach at UMass.
From all true Tigers fans, a big "congratulations" should go out to Coach K, and also a HUGE "thank you" for all he has done for the Tigers over the past 8 years.
He is certainly deserving of his shot to be a head coach, and how cool it is that his big job is his own alma mater!
Truth be known, we'll likey miss him as mouch, if not more than losing players like Rose or CDR. Coach K was our main recruiter and work endlessly to make sure Coach Cal had all the tools he needed to be successful. He is the grunt labor behind our success.
No doubt in my mind he'll be a huge success back at UMass and his players there will love playing for him.
Memphis will certainly miss him.
