I am a Wisconsin guy and there is no justifiable reason to have Wisconsin on this list. There is another team about 70 miles to the east in Marquette who is not on your list who is higher on the all time wins list, has nearly twice as many NCAA appearances 26 vs 14, 3 final 4s (1974, 1977, 2003) including a title in 1977.

Fair enough Pack.
(1) I honestly had the Golden (Warriors, Eagles, take your pick) on my list, but I was afraid I was opening myself up to being criticized for Big East bias...
(2) Heck, if that's the top gripe that comes to your mind when you look at my list, I'll thankya kindly!!

Having Wisconsin is more justifiable than having Illinois, atleast Wisconsin has a title along with a couple of Helm's titles to boot.. What does Illinois have? The exclusion of Marquette on the list is just another example of the what have you don;e for me lately syndrome that accompanies many of these lists. I mean why have Arizona in the top 15 if that is not the case. Do your homework, you'll see Arizona, pre Lute, was not any sort of traditional bball school, almost everything Zona has in bball has been accomplished since 1985 yet there arer relevant schools who are still decent today (like Marquette) who ALSO accomplished things in the good al' days, pre-three point line and shot clock etc... that seem to get no recognition just because their titles predate the person who's making the list's birthdate, if you know what I mean. Fact is the top 6 are easya nd everyone seems to agree on them universally but after that you can make an argument for ALOT of schools, Marquette AND Wisconsin incuded

I have other gripes but UW and Marquette are near and dear to my heart. I however, don't think Duke is on that first tier. I think your other 5 up there belong on that first tier, but Duke belongs with the Michigans State's G'Town's and Louisville's of the world. I think St John's should be higher, not because of their final fours but throughout history they have been consistantly very good. San Francisco is a touchy one as they had a great run for a while, but with the current state of their program having disbanded for a few seasons, and being relegated to playing in a midmajor league their all time rank is on an inevtiable downward spiral.

I've a question.
If, it's ALL TIME, and to be picky, how do you have UNC 2 and UK 3?
Is it wins? (UK has more)
Is it titles? (UK has more)
Is it percentage? (UK's is better)
Is it NCAA appearances? (UK has more)
Just curious. If it's based on the last 10 years and titles, then UNC wins. Any other measure, I don't get it.
I'm looking at it from a UK perspective, obviously, but by any measure I can think of all-time UK is either 1 or 2 (with UCLA) or if it is wins or Percentage it is UK 1 and UNC 2.
Thoughts?
