Hello fellow owners.

I have created this thread to make it easier to communicate with each other and also so we will not have to talk trash etc. on other threads and bother the other posters.

...well maybe not as much anyway.

Last year we did this and it went over very well. It brought the owners together and many trades were worked out.

Heres to a good season. Lets get this groove goin

Thanks Skydog,

I sure hope it makes it easier because I am going to need all the help that I can get.  I am a Rookie at Fantasy Baseball so basically I am still trying to figure out "Who's on First?"

Good Luck this season to all.

Jernigan, I don't even know who's at home

Anyone know how roto works, is it necessary to start as many players as possible during the week or what?  Is pitching more important or hitting?  Who invented liquid soap and why?

No matter what it will be fun.

Later homeys

Dang, nobody posting.

I can already tell I don't like this format.  It's not the roto, it's the fact that you can't replace a player during the week.  I would like to be able to cut some jerk loose who is stinking up the place before he can do any more damage to my friggin ERA.  1 player with an ERA of over 30.00 this week with maybe 4 innings under his belt, guy has totally lost it.  I can't believe Colorado hasn't sent him to the minors to fix whatever it is that ails him.

2 other things I don't like.

I have to carry 2 catchers.  Of all the catchers in the league, I get the crappiest.  OK, maybe Gerald Laird is crappier, who knows. 1 crappy catcher per team is enough.

Not a deep enough bench for injuries.  I ain't dropping my best players because they have minor injuries but you need stats.  I may be wrong but we have to have a certain number of innings and AB's before our stats REALLY count.  The system tells me I am not even gonna get close to either number that is required; in fact the system says that none of the teams in our league will make the numbers.  Am I missing something?

yeah fletch for roto you must meet the required innings and at bats by end of season i wouldn't worry to much at the beginning of the season if it says not on target yet cause it can change tons doing the first couple of weeks though it will be to make the innings requirement depending on how many closers you have also i use only 2 save guys but can use 3 and make it and at bats you dont want alot of part time players of course and i agree with you on the bench not being deep enough and having to field 2 catchers i think they should change that

.211 batting avg. for the entire Week 1 period!

1 win & 7 , count em - SEVEN losses!

IF I tried to choose a staff to lose - I doubt I could top 7 in a week. This will not last. Yall better make tracks while ya can.

I don't like the weak bench either. Not many strategy options.

Dang, Sky, that inhales royally!

I don't think there is any way I can catch up with Southside, 16 HR in one week; that's ridiculous.  I have a big whopping 6.
