	I see a booth at the back of the diner at 4:00 AM, and a really nice waitress stopping by to refill the coffee mugs, and you and me trading stories. Maybe even some true ones. Like I once sat at a red light at about sun up with my girlfriend snuggled up tight, looked across the intersection, and saw my wife (an early one) in her car staring daggers at me. I waved when the light turned green. She didn't wave back. There's no excuse for being discourteous, if you ask me.

	Who said we had to trade in Scotch for coffee? True story: I cracked my head open on the fireplace Make Twain used to write next to at his favorite bar after a night of Jack Daniels. I was then carried back to the stern-wheeler by the Captain himself.

	Mark lived in Buffalo around the time his little boy died. I too lost a young son. That is why I don't care a whole lot about the rest of my life. Makes me slightly dangerous.

	I am unbelievably sorry to hear that. The rest of your life, at the very very least, means something to me. You better have that diner picked out the next time I take a trip that direction, until then I think Blue sounds like a good choice. I'll take 3 small rocks.
