Does Dallas or Houston have a better chance to advance to the 2nd round?

I got Dallas.  Dirty.

Your reply borders on irrelevance due to the fact the question addresses the "better chance to advance?" and not the "will or will not advance?".

When developing a question of this sort to head this thread, I wanted to eliminate the option of equal chance within the question as well as eliminating the subsequent responses of equal chance to advance between the teams, of the playoff matchups and/or the hasteful emotive responses prior to the series and once the series' began.

I did this because of a few things I believe are true.  In short, these things are:

1.  The teams do not have equal chance to advance because the teams have different players as well as having to oppose different players.

2.  There are haters of Mavs and/or Rockets

If you believe the chances of each of these teams to advance is even, then I suppose a response of neither would be relevant.  Although, I would expect some evidence to back this type of argument.

OK, HERE YA GO.  THE Mavericks HAD ZERO CHANCE OF ADVANCING.  THE Rockets HAVE ZERO CHANCE OF ADVANCING. SINCE BOTH TEAMS HAVE ZERO CHANCE OF ADVANCING, THEN I WOULD SAY THAT NEITHER TEAM HAS A "BETTER" CHANCE OF ADVANCING. OK, I WILL EXPOUND.  AVERY IS NOT USING KIDD IN A WAY THAT BEST SUITS HIM SO THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF WINNING.  THE YAO LESS ROCKETS USED MIRROR TRICKS TO GET THROUGH THE END OF THE SEASON WITHOUT HIM, BUT THE Jazz WILL EXPOSE THIS LOSS OVER A 7 GAME SERIES. SLOAN IS TOO GOOD OF A COACH NOT TO.  THAT ALL EQUALS NO CHANCE FOR EITHER TEAM.  CAPICHE?

Nice post unlv but its may 1st and the mavs have been long gone so way to keep up. The questions alot easier to answer when the series is over.
