Hmmm. Care to recant?

I'm going to give you a pass on this one if you are from Washington. Can't blame someone for ridiculous optimism when they're rooting for the home team. But right now they will be lucky to make it to a game 6 in the 1st round.

The Wizards take this series in 6 or 7 for several reasons, but the biggest one is that Gilbert Arenas got hurt again last night. When he is in the game at less than 75% as he has been, he is not as good as the guy he is keeping off the court. he is not even as good as the ROOKIE he may be keeping off  the cour in Nick Young. When he is in the game, even if trying to be unselfish, he disropts the team play that they have gotten used to all season. The Wizards have come to rely, dare we say it, on defense this year and Arenas is not healthy enough to play it even if he wanted to which he does not.

The comment about Lebron not trying is lidicrous. He tried and got put down so he pouted at the end going to the bench and ptting on his warmups with over 6 minutes left in the game I believe. The truth is he needs a lot of help and when the big men are in foul trouble they lose. Nobody on the team can pass the ball except Lebron and he can't pass to himself. This team lost it when they traded away Larry Hughes.

I believe the Wizards shoot well enough from the outside, play enough defense, and shoot free throws well enough to win this. I also think Jameson is primed to have a big couple of games.
