I've been a Titans Fan since Nashville was voting on weather or not to even bring football to Tennessee.  When I think Titans the first person I think of is Steve McNair I'm sure that's what most Titans Fans think of too. For awhile it looked like Eddie George but that was not the case as MCNAIR JUST KEPT getting better and better till he won CO-MVP W/Peyton. The guy is "THE BEST BLACK QB OF ALLTIME" If you don't think so then you dont know football. Mcnabb never played HURT like MCNAIR & when I say HURT I mean STEVE MCNAIR HURT! You know what I'm saying if your a real football fan. Nashville was lucky to have him.I t never dawned on me till now but all my Titans memories are with STEVE as the Quarterback. I know Titans fans are not going to forget and hopefully you don't either he played the game rite stayed out of trouble and was My Quarterback!   YOUR ONE OF THE GREAT ONES.  " WE WONT FORGET YOU"

I agree. Steve McNair was Titans Football. He played, gave it his all everytime on the field and never took plays off. If Steve had a body to match his heart, he could play another 10 years.

C'mon Titans, bring Air McNair back to Nashville so he can retire with us!!

Steve was a great player. I will always think of him as a titan even though he's been gone a few years.

He was able to make some of the most amazing plays when he was really hurt.  Him coming out and playing when he was hurt showed that he has the heart of a champion even though he never won a super bowl.

The man just knows how to win. plain and simple. he took a expansion team to the super bowl just a few years after it was founded, had success throughout his career, and just knew how to get the W. i personally believe if injuries had not slowed him down he'd still be throwing and running hard and would be a first ballot hall of famer. but the reality is the injuries happened. Still, outstanding career steve.

He will probably go down as the best Titans QB ever.   Unless you guys get a Joe Montana like guy who gets multiple rings.  He was a joy to watch even as a Titan. As a Ravens fan I wish I could see one more solid season from him.  But when the Titans were at their best it was when Eddie George and/or the defense was at its best..   Also he didnt build an expansion team from the ground up.  Houston moved their team to Tennesse and they even used the name Tennesse Oilers for atleast one year.

I am a Bronco fan and hate all that is not a Mile High.  But I love Steve McNair. I f had an athlete kid I would tell hime to be like Steve.  he will be missed and I hope his impact and legacy will be realized.  The NFL is shorter today.

Since his days at Alcorn State, I was a fan.

When he was a rookie on the Oilers/Titans, I became a fan of the Oilers/Titans. In fact, I still have a Titans jacket, hat, and McNair jersey to my name.

When he went to Baltimore, I became a Ravens fan. (Guess it's time to but his Ravens' jersey 50% off.)

McNair was/is a class act, and players of his caliber don't come in to the league very often.

I only wish we could have seen his Titans win that Superbowl against the Rams... I know I was rooting for him/them, but they came up just short.

You knew with his age, that he wouldn't be around forever, but I expected him to be back on the field in September, leading the Ravens to a strong (rebound) season.

Steve McNair, you will be missed by many, best of luck to you in your life after football.
