	The old saying goes something like, "Would rather have loved and lost love than never loved at all." Kevin Love's one year trek through Westwood was great to witness and he elevated the program. Love is very skilled, not as un-athletic as his critics point out, passionate, fundamentally sound and smart. His court vision is vastly underrated and the kid's a winner. In a culture so quick to hang tags and labels on guys then scurry on to the next big thing, Kevin Love is a throw back, but, his game translates to any style or tempo. The 2007-2008 UCLA season wouldn't have been nearly as successful without you. Best of luck in the NBA. Love exhibited nothing but class and a true feel for the history of UCLA while he was a Bruin. UCLA fans should show him the same respect as he exits.

	The Big Redhead will always be my favorite Bruin. I have 3 years of memories watching big Bill play. I can only imagine what it would have been like to have K love stay three years. I'm a season ticket holder for football and not basketball but I still go to two or three games a year at Pauley. I stayed talking with some friends after the Oregon st. game and waited for some of the players to come back out. When K Love came out he was quickly surrounded by those of us who had stayed. I was able to shake hands with him and told him that he was one of the best I had seen in my years of following Bruin basketball and was happy to see him wearing Walt Hazzards number 42. His "thank you" and eye to eye contact were genuine. He continued to sign autographs, shake hands and smiled the entier time until the last well wishers had gone. We were fortunate to have him at UCLA for one season. #42 will go back into retirement and now have a special significance to both young and old Bruin fans.

	I agree 11Banners -- I'm glad he came. He exceeded my lofty expectations and his draft stock will probably never get higher than it is right now. I'd "Love" to see him come back for one more year but I can't blame him or Westbrook for moving on to the next level. Any chance Collison gives UCLA one more year?
