Rafer is the 2nd most reliable scorer we have with Yao out. Yes thats not a great statement to make ,but w/0 Yao it is the truth. Also, Bobby Jackson is a little older now and he came over late season. Now he's our starting PG. Need Rafer to start so bobby can play normal minutes off the bench. TMAC will find a way to get it done tonight. LETS GO Rockets!!!!
Okay, you might want to re-think that statement, D-Will is already schooling booby jackson and when yowwwww was in there last year it took us 7 games to beat you, this year could be in 4. you have no answer for D-WILL!!!!!!
Glad your ready obviously by the looks of the 1st quarter the rock-ets were not....good luck the rest of the game...and the series for that matter
We are here watching the game brother. don't worry i will show up later to rub this one in all those red faced (with anger and frustration) rock-et fans.
Hey what happened to whooping on the Jazz? What I saw was another Jazz win on the Rockets home court. I've yet to see this whooping of the Jazz you speak of. Perhaps you meant you were ready to see the whooping Deron Williams was going to lay on the firecrackers?
Headchopper, the reason the Rafer argument makes no sense is because you're talking about a guy who is basically your 4th scoring option. 1- McGrady 2-Scola 3- Battier. It would be like Jazz fans losing Ronnie Brewer and then blaming our losses on losing him.
Also, it seems to me that at least last night, Bobby Jackson and Aaron Brooks were handling that position just fine. I don't recall a single playoff game last year that Alston scored 18 points like Bobby Jackson did last night. I'm sorry, but Raefer and Bobby are about on par with each other. Of course, I'm not naive enough to think having Alston wouldn't help any, but to think that he would be making the difference in winning or losing this series is just assinine.
I dont want to talk any crap today. I was IMPRESSED with how hard the Rockets played. T-Choke nothing. That guy played his heart out he was 1 rebound away from a triple double you just have to credit the utah defence on running everything they had at him and wore him down by the 4th. If McGrady had some help the might have won.
I do want to say one thing about the Houston fans at the game last night. I thought that was pretty classless to leave without giving your team an ovation. That was probably the last game in the Toyota center this year, and the Rockets did something amazing for you this year. They could have quit when Yao went done and none of you would have blamed them, but they didn't infact they did quite the opposite and your crowd didn't even stick around till the end of the game (which wasn't even decided until 20 sec left) to thank them for a great season. That just seemed pretty ungrateful and classless to me!!
That's something a lot of fans do, they even did it when our streak ended which was pretty weak. But you can't blame some people, it was a monday and it was late and a lot of people work really early so oh well.
Are you kidding they couldn't stick around for another 20 sec of a game. It's not like I'm saying they should have stayed for another 6 mins of a game. I just thought they could have shown some respect for what your team did this year. In all honesty I don't know how they kept winning like they did with Yao out and how they played as close as they did in the first two games with McGrady hurting and Rafer hurt. This team gave all they had and your fans didn't seem to show any appreciation for what they have done.
I agree, the Rocket fans should be proud of their team. They really did accomplish a lot this season. They had some bad breaks with injuries and all, but in the end it was a pretty good season I would think. Rocket fans should look forward to next year with a smile.
The people that left with 20 seconds left, obviously stupid but a lot left before that, it was a late game and a lot of people left because monday, work blah blah blah.
D-Will and Jazz/ccogs are good posters. Now we are moving past the trash talk to some decent analysis and mutual respect.
I am upset about my Rockets and their seemingly whiney attitude. Did anyone hear McGrady's comments about everything being his fault. Unbelievable.
Our boys need to put away their hankies and sack up and play. I am very impressed with the Jazz's physical play and gallons of hustle.
To spend any time commenting on the last call of Game 2 is worthless. We had 2 games in H-town to take care of business and win at least one and we didn't do it. Too bad. Get your game face on McWhiney and start balling like you're a page 1 player.
