Well unless they make a change in scheduling it appears that Duke is set to play Purdue at Mackey Areana next year for the Big 10/ACC challenge. The pairings are arranged by ESPN, and a newspaper out of Madison reported this as part of a gripe they have with Wisconsin most likely having to play on the road again(6 of the 9 games have been on the road). Although the official schedule won't be announced till July, Purdue has these games set up for next year:
Pre-Season NIT-2 guarantee games, 4 if they win the first two.
Home vs Valpo
Home vs Duke
Wooden Tradition @ Indy vs TBD
Assuming they get a quality team in the tradition and they win their pod at the NIT, that will be 4 quality games in what probably will be a 12 game Non-Conference schedule. At least we won't have to worry too much at SOS next year.
