5-0 already and the lowest ERA in the majors at 0.96. It was a shame to see that 3 run homer against Seattle tonight. But, I guess it shows he is human. He still good enough for the win!  We have seen Cliff Lee win 18 games before, so we know when he has it, he can do it all season!  I look forward to each start...will he win 5 more in May?  Keep it going Cliff!

Go Tribe!!

I bet people are glad he wasn't traded before spring training, because anytime a name was mentioned, that was the one I heard. Imagine if he'd be putting up these numbers for another team right now :)

All the starters are coming around, even Sabathia who just had no support against the Yankees. Now, it's figuring out what's wrong with the bullpen that was their anchor last year! Betancourt and Perez were untouchable until the Red Sox series, now it's like they're still in that series. Lewis is growing into a consistent pitcher, and Koyabashi is settling in pretty well too, but the two Rafs need to do whatever CC did before he pitched against the Royals a few weeks ago... and fast.

Sowers pitched well against NY too. We just have to find a closer.

Im happy with pitching right now. However, if the hitting doesnt pick up in the next week, The pitchers might start feeling like what evr they do is useless and fall into a slump themselves. A quick turnaround would be nice right about now.

Agreed, Akron D it really does not matter how good the pitching is, if the hitting keeps going the way it is.  They need to make some moves fast, bofe the pitching goes in to a slump.

Incredible! Cliff Lee throws another scoreless outing! 7 innings of shutout ball again!! 7 strikeouts in 7 innings. He is pitching better than anyone in the entire league. 6-0 with .80 ERA and a WHIP of .60.  Oddly enough, his whip has been so good that it actually raised .04 after todays game with 6 hits and no walk in 7 innings. 39 strikeouts in 44.7 innings and only 2 walks all season. WOW!!!

And just think of this. If it wasn't for one bad pitch two games ago he never would have gave up the 3 run homerun.

Cliff Lee starting again today.  Now the starting rotating all together has been great not only Cliff Lee.  Can not wait untill we get Westbrook back.  So let's hope the offense can keep going and this team will be hard to beat.
