Not much. The last thing I read was that he and Roy Helu were big factors in Cody Glenn's decision to switch to linebacker. It sounded like Helu was impressing the new coaches a little more than Castille.
In the limited action he saw last season, Castille showed that he is a force to be reckoned with, but he also needs to show that he can hold onto the ball, pick up the blitz and catch the ball coming out of the backfield.
Marlon Lucky will be the featured back this year with Castille and Helu working short-yardage situations. They'll also get more carries in games where the Huskers have built a big lead. That's developing young players -- something Callahan and Solich were miserable at.
I'd love to see both Castille and Helu produce at a level that forces the coaches to find ways to get them in the game. Kind of like the days when NU had Jeff Smith averaging 18 yards per carry, but couldn't crack the starting lineup. Of course the guy in front of him was Mike Rozier.
