This kid plays for Boston College who is in the championship game of the NCAA. He is up for the Hoby Baker award (Best player in college). Buffalo drafted him and I think this kid might be really good when he plays for the Sabres. Thoughts?

HMMMM , geodudes2 , I didn't see the NCAA championships . But , most college players need at least 2 years in the MINORS . Most I say , but there are some who can jump to the BIG BOY'S , but , they are far and away from there . I'm waiting for the Sabres to name their AHL team , and I hope that their close to Buffalo .

Sabres will trade him to contender because they know he will be a free agent sometime in the next 10 years and will not want to pay him. In return, the sabres will receive a declining fan base and a guy who is willing to play in "the system". That is the system that helped them to a tenth place finish this season.

I read it this morning newspaper . They , the Sabres , will see him in the next step . If he , Gerbe , can play there , he might play for the SABRES .

wat do u find worse? under achieving with a 400k contract, or under achieving at 3 million.
Contracts and signings are hit and miss, its easier said then done. Same goes for over achieving, who can u expect it from and at wat price range.

I find underachieving with a 3 million dollar contract is worse because you know what you're getting with a player who gets paid 400k, not much.

Nathan Gerbe is phenomenal, he will be a star in the NHL. I can see him playing major minutes for the Sabres in the next 2 or 3 years.
