The University of Arkansas basketball program will host a pair of recruits on official visits this weekend as it prepares for the April 16-May 21 spring signing period.

Former West Memphis star and current Cincinnati Harmony Christian small forward Jason Henry (6-7, 190) and junior college guard Devon Dumes (6-2, 185) of Vincennes University are both due in.

Henry, who was due in late Thursday night, averaged 27 points this season for a 29-1 squad whose only loss was in the opening round of the National Prep Elite Eight Tournament.

"'He's only a shoe affiliation away from being top five in the country,' noted Harmony coach Rodney Crawford earlier this year. "...Henry has the handle of a point guard, a natural ability to get buckets and overall (Tracy) McGrady-esque qualities..."

Originally a Cincinnati signee and a consensus top 100 player in 2007, Henry has also been considering Nebraska and Providence.

Dumes, a former Indianapolis prep standout, began his college career at Eastern Michigan and averaged 8 points his freshman season before a coaching change.

He transferred to Vincennes where he averaged 16.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game this season for a 28-6 team that made it to the National Junior College Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Dumes, who hit 41 percent of his 3-pointers and 84 percent of his free throws, has already visited UTEP back in the fall and Colorado last week.

After his visit to Arkansas this weekend, he may also visit Ohio State and Alabama.

The Razorbacks are also known to be interested in JeJuan Brown (6-7, 232), who was originally scheduled to visit Arkansas this weekend, but will now visit at a later

From what I hear I would say sign just Henry out of these guys. You have to save some room for all the big 09 players considering the hogs!

What is the deal with that anyways. We have alot of 09 big names considering us. Will we even have scholorships for them?

Fill me in on that because that has been eating me up. Favors has us on his list. Gulley and the other in state guard. Trent. Shawn WIlliams and more. And if a few decide yeah I want to be a hog do they even have room for them?
