Gillespie

I have to think that this is all hype based on the the expectations for the team last year.  I fully expect Gillespie to be at Kentucky next year (barring a scandal).

As for the Hogs, it is probably best we did not get Gillespie.  I think Pelphrey will prove a great ( and dare I say better) choice in the long run.

You may be correct about the contract.  I thought I read that he signed the contract, but if he did not that would defintely cause problems witht the administration.

I understand your concern about Pelphrey going to UK.  That is probabaly the only job that would lure him from ARK at this time (we are not talking money).  That being said, I think he realizes he needs a couple more sucessful years to be listed among the Div 1 coaches that are always named for Job replacements.

I guess that the bottom line is that I believe this is all still hype.

I have heard the OSU was looking at him since Self is staying as Kansas.  As on has stated already, I am more afraid of Kentucky hiring Pelphrey away from us since he is a Kentucy grad.
