So it looks like the Bulls would be drafting #9 right now maybe #8. It would take some huge luck to sneak into the top 3 via lottery. So my question is, who do you draft with that pick? Assuming that these players are already gone when the Bulls pick: Michael Beasley 6'9 PF 26.2pts 12.4rbs., Derrick Rose 6'4 PG 14.9 4.5 4.7, 6'11 C Brook Lopez 19.3 8.2 2.1blocks, 6'3 SG Jaryd Bayless 19.7 2.7 4.0assists, 6'5 SG O.J.Mayo 20.7 4.5 3.3, 6'3 SG Eric Gordon 20.9 3.3 2.4. (Bayless and Gordon's #'s are strangley similar to our 6'3 SG Ben Gordon and all are the exact same size-very strange). 6'9 SF Danillo Gallinari 14.9 4.2 1.7 (Italy). Here are the top rated prospects in the 8-15 range. On the Bubble(16-22 range are PF Blake Griffin, SF Chase Budinger, C/PF M.Speights, SG Chris Douglas-Roberts, C Roy Hibbert, SF Nicolas Batum(France), PG Tywon Lawson. The Bulls will need a backup for Hinrich, with Duhon being a free-agent and likely not coming back, The 2-guard is for Sefolosha and Hughes with Ben Gordan a Restricted F/A. Small Forward's Luol Deng (Restricted F/A, will likely be back), Andres Nocioni, PF Drew Gooden and Tyrus Thomas. C Joakim Noah and Aaron Gray. I like a PG pick for the Bulls here. At 5'11 Augustin is very small, but can score and reminds me of the explosive TJ Ford whom the Bucks chose with the pick directly after the Bulls pick that year #8 in Kirk Hinrich. Russell Westbrook is an extremely interesting combo guard but at #8 or #9 might be too early to select him? DeAndre Jordans averages remind me of a second coming of a Robert Swift, Mouahammed Sene, Felton Spencer, Jason Collins type bust pick! I'm not so sure we need another PF in Love. We have Gooden with Thomas backing him up. The personal workouts at the Berto Center will probaly be a big factor in determining whom the Bulls select with their 1st round pick. A players value can rise and plummet very fast but these players are the best bet at the moment.
