So it looks like the Bulls would be drafting #9 right now maybe #8.  It would take some huge luck to sneak into the top 3 via lottery.  So my question is, who do you draft with that pick? Assuming that these players are already gone when the Bulls pick:  Michael Beasley 6'9 PF 26.2pts 12.4rbs., Derrick Rose 6'4 PG 14.9 4.5 4.7, 6'11 C Brook Lopez 19.3 8.2 2.1blocks, 6'3 SG Jaryd Bayless 19.7 2.7 4.0assists, 6'5 SG O.J.Mayo 20.7 4.5 3.3, 6'3 SG Eric Gordon 20.9 3.3 2.4. (Bayless and Gordon's #'s are strangley similar to our 6'3 SG Ben Gordon and all are the exact same size-very strange). 6'9 SF Danillo Gallinari 14.9 4.2 1.7 (Italy).  Here are the top rated prospects in the 8-15 range. On the Bubble(16-22 range are PF Blake Griffin, SF Chase Budinger, C/PF M.Speights, SG Chris Douglas-Roberts, C Roy Hibbert, SF Nicolas Batum(France), PG Tywon Lawson. The Bulls will need a backup for Hinrich, with Duhon being a free-agent and likely not coming back, The 2-guard is for Sefolosha and Hughes with Ben Gordan a Restricted F/A.  Small Forward's Luol Deng (Restricted F/A, will likely be back), Andres Nocioni,  PF Drew Gooden and Tyrus Thomas. C Joakim Noah and Aaron Gray.  I like a PG pick for the Bulls here.  At 5'11 Augustin is very small, but can score and reminds me of the explosive TJ Ford whom the Bucks chose with the pick directly after the Bulls pick that year #8 in Kirk Hinrich. Russell Westbrook is an extremely interesting combo guard but at #8 or #9 might be too early to select him? DeAndre Jordans averages remind me of a second coming of a Robert Swift, Mouahammed Sene, Felton Spencer, Jason Collins type bust pick!  I'm not so sure we need another PF in Love. We have Gooden with Thomas backing him up. The personal workouts at the Berto Center will probaly be a big factor in determining whom the Bulls select with their 1st round pick.  A players value can rise and plummet very fast but these players are the best bet at the moment.

I choose DeAndre Jordan for the simple fact the Bulls still need a low post scorer and he MAY develop into that one day. What they really need to do is trade up and get Derrick Rose even if that means there first this year next year OR player of value like Thomas or Noch and a first.

Is it just me or is it that when there is a really good draft coming the Bulls find a way to just be outside the range of the top notch players? When they do have top five pick players like Marcus Fizer, Eddy Curry, Tyrus Thomas, and Ben Gordon are available. Even when we had the Knicks pick the league decided to have that rule that basically kept us from Greg Oden and Kevin Durant and the next year the Knicks found a way to assure we would not get in the mix for those guys.

Package our Pick, Hinrich, Gordon and Tyrus Thomas to the Heat for the rights to their number 1 pick (Derrick Rose) and Dorell Wright.

I am dead serious.... I would love to see the Bulls do something like this....

after your bickering or agreement I will explain why....

I still think that Bulls needs a true postup presence. They should have drafted differently a year ago but don't get me started on that. I feel as though if K-Love comes out, they have to decide on him or if Brook Lopez is not off the board. I would like or the Bulls to get K-Love, I believe that they have enough at the guard and small forward positions. They need someone that can be more effective in the post. I'll take K-Love if he's available!!

HOLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

PG DJ Augustin, I really have no room to talk. I dont watch NCAA basketball. I missed all of March Madness this year even. I saw one game this year and this kid Augustin really impressed me. I feel that if he fell to us then that would be a reach for us to pick him, but his leadership was top notch.

The should ship hinrich and our 1st & 2nd round picks and move up and get derrick rose.  Nothing else will do, this is the player the Bulls have been waiting for since the last dance with jordan, pip and crew. Rose will come into the league and be the dominate PG the Bulls need to get T. Thomas, J. Noah & D. Gooden the ball and they still will have Larry to put up enough shots that they cant double him.....And hopefully they can get Rick Carlise to coach them to a ring.

You're not getting Rose in a deal that includes Kirk Hinrich. The word is out and Captain Kirk, and its bad. He's overpaid and not what you cold call a "hot commodity". If we could substitute Deng in that deal and get it done, I'd do that. I just think that Kirk is almost untradeable.
