Purdue's players are know as the "Baby Boilers" but we're a good team. Our freshmans, sophomores, and a couple juniors all have great talent. Do you think that any of our players are good enough to go to the NBA before they reach their Senior year?

E'twaun has the ability to create and make tough shots.  If he improves upon this year, he could be out after his junior year.

If Chris Kramer can develop a shot, and maybe get some range on his jumper he could probably go, well maybe not before senior year, but after he graduates, he's a great defensive player two more years and he'd be NBA ready, and if he could just make more shots then I could see him as a second rounder. But only if he can make some 3's, and shoot better from the charity stripe.

And both Moore, and Hummel could easily go after Junior year maybe sophomore year, depending on how they improve, they have the NBA range and shot, they just both need to get a little more muscle, they are rater scrawny for the NBA.

E'twaun Moore is will definately be good enogh to go pro before his senior season.  He has the ability to score every time he gets the ball.  If you got to see the game @ Illinois then you were able to see that.  His numbers won't be that of a normal player who leaves early because of Purdue's depth.  He has even been quoted in the Indianapolis Star saying that "if the situation prestned itself, then I would probably take it."

I'd say Moore has the best chance of going to the NBA early. However, I think he will stay at Purdue for 4 years.

I personally don't think that the "Baby Boilers" can make it to the NBA before their Senior year. We have good athletes, but the NBA is on a whole bracket of talent. It's a hard league. There are some good athletes in the pros right now, it'd be hard for our players to match up to pros. I'm not saying they're bad, but i just don't think that they could leave before their Senior year and still have a great career in the NBA.
