just laugh at that because they started last season off the same way they are this season and they are going to collapse. Everyone knows that Sheets is going to get injured and Fielder is just waiting for this season to get over so he can get out and get a massive deal.
First of all, the Brewers aren't dependant on the long ball this year like they were last season. They lead the league in team average at the moment at .303 and runs scored at 40 while 'only' hitting 7 HR's in 6 games. We know they can hurt you with the long ball, but now they are showing they can play small ball too.
Also, Sheets started the season healthy for the first time in years. It's very possible he gets injured, but he has the same chance as any other in the league going down.
And since you obviously have absolutely no idea how young players and free agency works, Prince must remain in Milwaukee for this season and 3 more unless traded. Teams have the rights to a player for his first 6 full seasons; 2008 is only Prince's 3rd year. He isn't going anywhere for quite some time.
BTW, the Brewers have much better pitching then they did last season and very deep, veteran bullpen. It was those two aspects of their game that accounted for their collapse last season.
