Gregg chose to focus on how Memphis managed to lose a game that  was their's to win rather than how Kansas managed to pull off a miraculous comeback.  Both stories are worth telling.  I don't think the word choke is inappropriate in this case (unlike last weekend when a so-called journalist at CBS referred to Xavier as stooges).

this game was lost...

stupid memphis fouling, including getting dorsey fouled out, which showed up big time in OT.

4 straight missed free throws.

poor defense at the end.

all the elements of an epic choke.

It was a game of runs. Memphis made a nice one with 10 minutes to go, but KU made a nicer one for the rest of the way. Definitely the 2 best teams in the country.
