AUGUSTIN HONORED: Sophomore point guard D. J. Augustin has made the five-man Associated Press All-America team and also has won the Bob Cousy Award as the nation's top point guard. Augustin is an outstanding student, too, and is trying to decide whether to return for his junior year at Texas or enter his name in the NBA draft pool.
He said during the season that he planned to return, but he is reconsidering that decision now that the season is over. If he returns, the Longhorns will have all five starters back from an Elite Eight team and will be a pre-season top five pick next year.
