Control your trolls please...

First- let me say that I completely respect all other teams and their passionate fanbases. I actually rooted for Oregon in football and liked watching your basketball team last season and was expecting bigger things from them this year. With all that being said, I hate to admit that one of your "fans" has tarnished your image with me because of his repeated and completely uncalled for post on the UNC board this year.

While I would like to assume the post was made in jest, I really do not care because it is not funny and it is definitely not called for. I hope he did lose everything because a person like him deserves to know what it is like to suffer. Ever heard of Marshall? I guess Vikingsfan4045 is a heartless and absolutely ignorant individual, but his comments are a direct reflection of Oregon because he is always spouting off about how much better they are than everyone else etc. I do not really feel negative about Oregon because of vikingsfan4045, but I think most true Oregon fans would agree that the above post was an insensitive and in very bad taste. If a wayward UNC fan has ever made comments similar to this, I am shocked and I am very, very sorry because I do not condone it. But I will also say that fans like this should not be allowed to "represent" any schools on these boards because it casts a very negative light on those schools.

I actually know of a few Tar Heel "fans" that I absolutely despise and am embarrased that they call themselves fans at all because they are an embarrasment to themselves as well as the Tar Heel nation as a whole.

Anyway - I really do hope Oregon does well this year in all sports, but please try and give your idiot fan a heads up to stay off other teams boards if this is all he has to contribute. Thank You. Go Ducks! Go Heels!!!!!!!!

You have to understand that there are thousands, and thousands, and thousands of us Duck fans not just in Oregon but around the country. We have a very devoted following, and we like to hang our hats on that. Of course we dont condone those types of posts by our fans, but as im sure UNC has.........there are going to be a few bad apples in ANY teams fan base. Im sure Viking didnt lose his house, his wife and dog betting on the UNC game and if he did, thats his own fault.

You throwing all us Duck fans under the bus for the comments of one, well thats your ignorance. Be smart, and relieze that the majority of us are well educated sports fans with a deep passion for our team. Hardly does that passion ever carry over to comments like what Viking made. And if your going to hate us for the rest of your life now because of this.............well not to sound like a jerk, but i dont think we really care. The entire nation doesnt like us (im guessing cause of NIKE) anyways, and i for one like it that way. I will say that im sorry for the comments of our fans, not all of us are like that. They were completly uncalled for.
