The below information was extracted from an article written by Dudley Dawson on April 7, 2008 for Hawgs Illustrated:

Clarence Trent (6-8, 230), a 2009 power forward prospect that the University of Arkansas covets, had an outstanding campaign at Las Vegas Findlay Prep this season. He is looking forward to hooking up with the Arkansas Hawks AAU squad again beginning with the Real Deal on the Hill in Fayetteville on April 18-20.

After an impressive year at Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, Washington native and 2009 power forward prospect Clarence Trent is looking forward to being back in the state of Arkansas.

Trent (6-8, 230) will spend his summer once again with the Arkansas Hawks AAU squad, which will begin 2008 action with the Real Deal on the Hill April 18-20 in Fayetteville.

“I can’t wait to get back to Arkansas and see the guys,” Trent said. “It’s a great place to be. I enjoyed being down there last summer and think it is going to be fun to be around there again this summer.”

Trent, who reclassified to 2009 after playing his sophomore and junior seasons at Gig Harbor, is very much on the University of Arkansas recruiting radar as well as several others schools (Kentucky, West Virginia, Oklahoma, UConn, Gonzaga, Washington, Washington State, and UNLV).

“Of course, Arkansas is way up there for me, but I would have to say I am open right now,” Trent said. “I think I will have a short list-right after- the real deal on the hill".
