What's up with all the illiterates on this board?. First Rcr writes a completely unreadable post and now this MESS from schmalzel. Come on guys can't you make these posts a little coherent? Pretty sad!!!!
Translation: Some Hornets fans just called me out. I will now have to resort to my back-up plan.... talking a bunch of flim-flam that has nothing to do with basketball.

Don't sleep on the Hornets.___They have the talent to get past the Mavericks.___If anything, the ONLY two things that may be factors in determining this series are:
1 Lack of focus by the Hornets
2 The playoff experience of the Mavs [8 straight years]
I like how Byron Scott has this team playing.___Based on what I've seen, they remind me alot of the Warriors from last year , when they upset Dallas.___Dirk Nowitzski can't handle pressure, which is why he will never win a championship.___If the Hornets win again tomorrow, Dallas is in big trouble.___Chris Paul smoked Jason Kidd yesterday.___That will cause problems if the Mav's can't find a way slow Paul down.___It's early yet, and Dallas is going to come out running tomorrow, however, I like the Hornets in this series to get it done and advance to the 2nd round.___Which will be sweet revenge, since Jason Kidd was the reason why Byron Scott was fired by the Nets.

Hey, where's sman? Doesn't want to come back and tell us how he predicted that the Hornets would be 1 and done?

Then again, now that I think about it; he probably has no idea the Hornets actually advanced in the playoffs. That would require him to watch something other than Kobe Bryant.

I was wondering the same thing! Just a typical Lakers fan, no guts to come back and admit when he's wrong. I have to say, for all the crap you hear on these boards complaining about the Spurs, their fans are ok. They give credit when it due, and they know their stuff.
This should be a good series coming up.

Relax ladies, I wasn't ducking you guys. Nice win over Dallas, but if you notice my thread, the point was it looked like you were going to play Denver who I thought could've beat you. But they were pathetic against L.A., so no way they would've beat you guys either....S.A is a different story. Should be a great series, but I'm thinking S.A experience gets them through, and meets L.A in the Western finals. As I predicted from the start.
Regarding Paul, he's impressive, much better than Nash, but I still think he's got a lot of talent on that team. Just as much as Kobe's got in L.A....Let's see how this plays out, before we start crowning Paul the new Isiah. He still has much to prove, and until he does, Kobe and Duncan are the two best players in the league.

sman,
I have to agree with everything you say in that last post. I know Chris Paul has to "earn his stripes" so to speak, but I also think we are seeing something really special here in the Big Easy.
I saw this stat earlier today regarding the first round: It dealt with assists/turnover ratio.
In the first round, Chris Paul had 60 assists and only 6 TO's for a 10:1 ratio,
the next highest in assists...Deron Williams with 42 and 19 for a 2.2:1 ratio.
You have to admit, CP3's numbers are pretty incredible. The game he had 17 assists, he had 1 turnover!
